Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging physical education curricula that meet the needs of all students.
Teach various sports and physical activities, ensuring students understand the rules, techniques, and strategies involved.
Foster a safe and inclusive environment that encourages participation from all students, regardless of their skill level.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
Collaborate with other educators to integrate physical education into the broader curriculum.
Organise and supervise extracurricular sports activities and events, promoting teamwork and school spirit.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and behaviour in physical education classes.
Experience
A degree in Physical Education or a related field is preferred.
A relevant teaching qualification (QTS)
Previous experience in teaching or coaching sports is advantageous.
Strong organisational skills to plan lessons and manage classroom activities effectively.
Excellent communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
A solid understanding of behaviour management techniques within an educational setting.
Proficiency in English is essential for effective instruction and communication.
