This work may include, but is not limited to: preparing and/or distributing marketing materials; inspection and evaluation of the property; preparing roof drawings and sketches; preparing scope of work documents; preparing proposals; attending sales calls; pricing patch and repair jobs; providing technical expertise; and attending meetings with the architect, contractor and/or owner.
Inspections
This work may include, but is not limited to: identifying; analyzing; and resolving any problems; and preparing reports to owners regarding the condition of roofs. When and where necessary or required, may perform QA/ QA+ inspections, Tremcare Gold Service (periodic visual inspection with minor repairs being addressed where detected on Tremco warranted roofs only).
Monitoring Installation Visits to project sites to monitor installation of Tremco roofing products for the purpose of determining whether to issue a Tremco warranty. This work may include, but is not limited to: monitoring progress of the installation; identifying any aspect of installation that does not comply with specifications; reviewing and resolving concerns of architects, contractors and owners regarding Tremco's installation instructions; coordinating visits with contractors; and preparing reports on progress and problems for the Sales Representative.
Troubleshooting Identifying problems arising during installation and the lifecycle of the roof. This work may include but is not limited to: identifying source(s) of leaks; analyzing problems to determine the best solution; monitoring implementation of the solution; and preparing written action plans.
This work will represent less than 45% of the SA's time Manual Labor Performing patch and repair work for small leaks that can be performed quickly after identifying the leak and other infrequent, limited physical labor. Performing minor maintenance (caulking, flashing touch up, applying small amounts of mastic, removing debris, etc.) to prevent potential leaks.
Other Work This work may include but is not limited to: conducting diagnostic infra-red scans of roofs; taking photographs; preparing CADD drawings; and delivering or picking up samples, documents or small products from/to architects, owners and contractors.
Education and/or Experience:
Minimum: Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or combination of education and experience. Must have a minimum of two to three years of related hands-on experience and/or training in a similar role. Prior sales and/or customer related experience in roofing industry required.
Qualifications:
Thorough understanding and application of roofing and waterproofing contracting standards. Experience with MS Word, Excel and familiarity with CADD Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to build relationships and deliver exceptional customer service. Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business and technical information, e.g. professional journals and periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to draft reports, business correspondence and similar documents. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, contractors, and architects. Ability to communicate business and technical information (e.g. information relating to status of projects, remediation plans, and customer concerns) to Sales Representative.

Take on export orders and transport.
Enter consignments onto transport system.
Enter transport invoices onto transport spreadsheet.
Input sales orders and sales order amendments onto the system, maintaining a high standard of accuracy in coding and pricing.
Produce delivery notes and place into system for despatch as required.
Prior to invoicing receive and check completed sales delivery notes and review sales order book for pricing anomalies.
Type any linked delivery notes.
Link and file all paperwork, sorted into documents for retention at branch and those to be forwarded to Head Office.
With appropriate authority, process sales credit notes similarly to invoicing.
Liaise with central Credit Control team to process customer account applications, informing relevant branch personnel of the outcome of each application.
Liaise with branch personnel and central Credit Control team to minimise disruption to trading from issues involving cash collection or credit procedures.
Process/distribute all letters and general correspondence, letters and faxes arising from daily operations at branch.
Process sales quotations from drafts provided.
With appropriate authority, complete monthly petty cash returns.
Carry out reception duties where appropriate, ensuring visitors are greeted promptly and with courtesy.
Maintain required levels of branch stationery, office, and canteen consumables.
Maintain branch filing and paperwork systems to meet the parameters required by quality standards.
To assist with periodic stock takes where required.
Compliance:
Confirm completed deliveries for invoicing, raise balance orders where appropriate (placing delivery notes back into circulation), with strict regard to Credit Control procedures.
To take heed of credit control disciplines during all transactions, with regard to credit limits and to accounts on suspension.
Ensure you are familiar with health and safety rules and regulations, and that your responsibilities as an employee, in respect of health and safety, are carried out in full.

The main element of the role as the Shoulder KAM Manager is to be the shoulder product expert and to be the subject lead and sell a portfolio of shoulder ortho products.
Will also have a dotted line responsibility for a small team of clinical & possibly sales people.
This role will eventually become a people manager role. Working very closely with senior management team looking to ID new customers, coming up with the go to market strategy and to push the shoulder portfolio to the next level along with other consumables but mainly implants.
Selling into orthopaedic surgeons consultants and a lot of procurement work.
Covering the South but there will be times where you will need to go further a field
The Ideal Person for the Key Account Manager
Must have orthopaedic shoulder experience.
Experience of coming up with strategy, mentoring and leading a team would be a HUGE advantage as this will eventually lead to a people management role.
Needs to have a min of 5 years shoulder orthopaedic experience.
Really need to have a good understanding of orthopaedics and good contacts on territory.
A successful sales track record of success is also a big bonus.
