GENRAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Quality Technician conducts testing on incoming and outgoing materials to ensure conformance to all quality requirements both internal and external. In addition, this role maintains the lab in a safe and organized manner to comply with all corporate or governmental policies for safety, environmental, and quality and assists with plantwide ISO 9001 compliance in whatever capacity required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual batch testing activities per product and procedural requirements. Perform periodic calibrations of lab and plant equipment. Participate in the development of quality specifications for raw materials, finished products or substitute materials. Support ISO Quality systems by understanding quality expectations, work instructions, and completing proper quality documentation. Perform periodic quality audits of production processes and finished goods. Communicate with other departments about the status of quality material. Perform first piece inspections on finished products.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
EXPERIENCE:
One to two years related experience and/or training. Minimum one year of related experience working in Extruded Rubber Products (ERP) or similar industry.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
ISO knowledge Knowledge of lab testing and extrusion/mixing raw materials preferred Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Strong computer skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

During our 2-year programme, you’ll work as part of an awesome team to support the installation of low carbon technology, including air source heat pumps, in customers’ homes. Spend your time interacting with customers to install, service, fault find and repair our amazing tech. ROV & USV Technician

Our Uncrewed Service Vessel (USV) operators and pilots will work predominantly from our new remote operations centre and our ROV & USV Pilot Technicians will predominantly work on site supporting the technical uptime of the Vessel, ROV and survey equipment.
The Role
We are seeking technicians who will be responsible for the technical uptime of our electric Remotely Operated Vehicles (eROVs) and USV’s within the European and African region.
You will support project mobilisations, equipment installation, equipment calibrations, equipment maintenance and technical fault finding. Therefore, you will get the opportunity to work hands on with the remote equipment underpinning the transition from conventional survey to remote and uncrewed survey.
Travel to project sites will be required for maintaining eROV systems, launch and recovery equipment, vessel mounted survey sensors and servicing of the vessel itself ensuring that components are operational to conduct investigation and inspections in accordance with the project deliverables.

This 18 month programme teaches you to build and maintain the physical infrastructure that supports our Data Centre of devices and in-lab appliances and work closely with software teams to create an effective testing platforms. You will be following defined operating procedures to extend, populate and maintain the lab spaces that contain TVs, Set-Top Boxes, Games Consoles, Streaming Sticks, control appliances and their associated hardware components.
You will be part of a team that is ultimately responsible for the hardware, facilities and logistical set-up, configuration and maintenance of a data-centre of 1000s of devices that run 24/7 at optimal efficiency. You will be expected to follow health and safety processes and adhere to tight security and quality standards. This will include following processes to accurately install and configure third party devices, computer hardware, racking and cabling infrastructure.
