Loading Brass Bar into the CNC bar feeders
Starting programs with the supervision of the CNC Machinist ensuring that the 1st off quality is acceptable to proceed with full batch manufacturing
Stopping machines effectively when programs have finished
Monitoring the machines during manufacturing:
Confirming quality of the products during the manufacturing process to drawings and other requirements
Ensuring levels of consumables are correct before and during manufacturing
Maintenance of the machines and manufacturing areas:
Cleaning and safety checks of the machines and manufacturing area
Tooling checks and reporting of worn tools or issues to the CNC Machinist
