The Apprentice Laboratory Technician will support the engineering laboratories teams with carrying out routine operational, maintenance, and manufacturing tasks while completing a Level 2 Engineering Operative Apprenticeship in the first year of the three-year apprenticeship programme. On your 2nd and 3rd year you will be able to complete your Level 3.
As an Apprentice Laboratory Technician, you will:
Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of engineering tools, machinery and equipment
Comply with statutory regulations and organisation health and safety requirements including any environmental compliance procedures and systems to maintain a safe working environment.
Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
