As an L3 Metal Fabricator Apprentice, you will gain practical experience within a busy fabrication environment while developing the technical skills and knowledge required for a successful career in metal fabrication and welding.
You will be trained to:
Carry out fabrication activities using industry-standard techniques
Use hand-held plasma cutting equipment
Perform oxy/propane cutting and gouging
Read and interpret engineering drawings
Carry out MIG welding and tack welding
Use hand-held tools, including grinders
Work safely and effectively within a manufacturing environment
Support the fabrication team in producing high-quality products
Training:4 days at Miller UK Ltd
