As an apprentice in our Moulding Department you will be involved in the full manufacturing process, including:
Operating a polyurethane moulding machine — from setup to production.
Loading mould tools and materials, mixing and pouring polyurethane elastomer.
Removing moulded parts, cleaning moulds, de-flashing and preparing parts for quality inspection.
Checking products for quality, and making sure they meet customer specifications.
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area.
You’ll gain hands-on experience and training in every step, from raw materials to finished product.Training:
All training will take place in the workplace, under the supervision or the department mentor.
A TDR training officer will support all other activities leading to end point assessment.
