Carry out to a high standard preventative maintenance and servicing on South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue vehicles, plant and equipment.
Diagnosis and repair of faults on South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue vehicles, plant or equipment using manufacturers in house electronic diagnostic equipment.
Work towards developing knowledge of water pumps (fire pumps) and other service-related equipment.
Where necessary attend defected vehicles at the vehicle base.
