Years 1 and 2:
During your first year you will spend time at college completing a Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, the foundation qualification of your apprenticeship.
Upon completion, you will return to Leonardo to start your rotational placements within some of the following departments:
Electronics Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations and other engineering support functions.
During your second year you will attend college on a day release basis to complete a Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, the knowledge qualification of your apprenticeship and continue with your rotational placements.
Years 3 and 4:
In your 3rd year you will continue to rotate around different departments, gaining further knowledge of the company and developing your engineering skills. Your 3rd year will also see you through the workplace portfolio phase of your level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, the competence qualification of your apprenticeship. For your final year you will specialise in your chosen area, based on your experience throughout your rotational placements you will also complete the End Point Assessment for your apprenticeship in Engineering Technical Support (Apprenticeship Standard Ref: ST0457).

Accurately update and maintain Freshdesk (our helpdesk portal) with professional service enquiry (PSE) updates, on a daily/regular basis, in readiness for the weekly Team review
Creation, commercial validation and prompt processing of customer quotations and proposals in Sage X3, including PSE quotations, licence quotations, bespoke software requirements (BSR) and technical consultancy requirements (TCR) proposals
Utilise Zoho CRM for opportunity management by tracking open customers quotations and proposals and proactively communicating with customers for progress updates

Commissioning of IT equipment: Laptops, Workstations, Servers, Tablets and Mobile Devices
Coordinate and file build sheets are completed in full and signed-off
