Training:
The classroom training for the IT Solutions Technician Level 3 apprenticeship comprises of 4 modules. Each module takes 1 week, and the apprentice will attend this in an online classroom with their designated JBC trainer
The full 5 days will be required on the training weeks, and the apprentice must be in a quiet, suitable environment for learning to take place. This can either be in the workplace or at home
The class sizes are small (Max 10 learners) so that discussions and assessment can take place between apprentices, peers and trainers

As an Electrical Trials Technician Apprentice you will be responsible for the operation of various data capture equipment used in the Test and Evaluation Industry.
This role is wide-ranging, has both practical and theoretical elements and you will often be viewed as a multi-disciplined engineer, with knowledge of all electronic aspects of test and evaluation techniques.

The Car Technicians jobs fall into three categories:
Servicing – working to manufacturer servicing guidelines to ensure vehicle running at optimum performance
Maintenance - replacing parts that have wear and tear before they fail
Repair - diagnosing the reason for vehicle failure and fixing the problem

Not only will apprentices be working and be trained within the garage, but they will also attend a Ford approved college four times a year for two-week periods to work towards achieving their Ford Masters Technical Certificate at standard Level 3
Before the Standard is met, all apprentices must hold a certificate that meets the EU’s 2014 F-gas regulation.
Apprentices without level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the End-Point Assessment.

You’ll spend most of your time working alongside experienced colleagues, learning relevant and valuable skills, contributing to exciting projects whilst being exposed to cutting-edge technology and see first-hand how first-class organisations operate systems. For the remainder of your time, you’ll follow an established apprenticeship programme, graduating after three years with a Degree in Digital and Technology Solutions.
Apprentices work in all parts of the Technology organisation in roles ranging from business analysis, data science, software engineering, infrastructure engineering, system security, and technology operations. The individual will be part of a wider application support team, supporting Bank of America’s core wholesale banking and vendor applications, specializing in payment processing. They will learn and become responsible for various production support aspects including, but not limited to incident & triage management, problem & change management and risk deliverables.
Working towards the following responsibilities:
Support for resolving Incidents, Problems, Monitoring Events, and Service Requests
Process improvements and innovation
Creation and maintenance of system, functional and reference documentation
Conduct analysis and recommend bug fixes for production incidents
Carry out daily health-check activities involving application checks, system checks, and database checks and related on production systems / servers
Report root cause of the incidents and present ideas on how to prevent the incidents from occurring in future
Ensure adherence to incident and change management processes

The apprentice will report to the Purchasing Manager and sit within the Supply Chain department with day-to-day contact with the Technical Buyer/ Purchasing Manager.
Key responsibilities:
Regularly review suppliers’ delivery schedules and expedite materials to ensure timely on-time delivery of materials.
Review material requirement planning software and act on exception messages to balance demand and supply by rescheduling line items where necessary.
Proactively communicate supply or supplier risks to the planning team and work with different stakeholders to develop mitigation plans for supply risks.
Champion the supplier management policy, ensuring that reasons for late deliveries are recorded and work with the procurement team to ensure delivery performance is managed in line with supplier management policy.
Work with cross-functional teams to manage material master data to ensure accuracy.
Prepare and lead the Purchasing Daily Meeting to review material shortages and late deliveries against expected targets.
Process vendor's return orders and communicate with the logistics team the urgency of these so that they can be returned promptly.

The primary role of a Systems Engineer is to design, develop and test designs and solutions, which can extend from components and equipment to more complete and complex integrated systems. You will be part of the Integrated Combat Systems Engineering community, and contribute to the Submarines programmes, ensuring these are delivered to time, cost and quality requirements.
During this 4 year Degree (Level 6) apprenticeship programme, you will have the opportunity to engage in a wide and exciting range of activities, from detailed requirements and performance analysis, generation of test procedures and reviewing of evidence. To writing technical specifications and contributing to the ongoing development and qualification of vital submarine structures, systems and equipment. You will apply your knowledge of electronics and of embedded software to the design of circuits or devices that provide a useful function, that are capable of being manufactured at a competitive cost, and that are reliable and safe in use.
You will be enrolled in the Embedded Electronics Engineering apprenticeship programme; your first year will spent gaining the essential foundation academic knowledge required for your role. You will then continue your academic journey, and gain exposure to different areas of Integrated Combat Systems by undertaking a variety of placements, where you will undertake a range of engineering activities to become proficient in your role. During these placements, you will work with integrated teams and start building a professional network of contacts.
You will apply your knowledge of engineering process and practices, and use and interpret engineering data and documentation such as engineering drawings, reports and computer generated models and be expected to work both individually and as part of an Engineering team, often comprising several disparate Engineering disciplines.
