AV Service Delivery Manager – I am looking for someone who lives and breaths the world AV service. This position requires a technical AV VC individual who comes from the AV corporate or residential integration or on site market place. This is not a position based on site this is an office based position. You will need to be a highly organised individual who understands the ins / outs of the world AV service and maintenance. The role will see you being an integral part of the team who can take charge of all aspects of the service department / team and work to help deliver a first class service offering:
Role Overview:
1) Overall responsibility and ownership for customer service levels, client retention, Service Division performance, Service Level Agreement (SLA) and KPI achievement.
2) Management of the Service Team as well as being hands on, approachable and focused on both internal and external resolution.
3) Ownership of the Service Desk strategy. This includes planning, process implementation, improvement and updating, KPI setting and measurement
4) High levels of communication with all clients to ensure good relationships and high levels of customer satisfaction.
5) Creating and delivering weekly reports, regular performance analysis and client specific ticket reports. Metric driven.
6) Deal with any client complaints and manage escalations, where necessary.
7) Manage the process of fault resolution from taking the initial call, tech support, visit coordination, engineer visits with full knowledge of the issues, correct equipment and historical data from any previous visits through to report and resolution.
8) Management of communications to ensure returns, repairs and orders are documented, placed and goods received/delivered in an appropriate time frame.
9) Onboard new clients, including introductions and assignment of dedicated resource to ensure a seamless client experience. This will be achieved by ensure all departments collaborate and communicate on a continuous basis, sharing relevant information and up to date documentation.

Position Summary:
Carboline is looking to hire a Field Technical Service Engineer to cover various parts of our Gulf Region seeking candidates located near New Orleans or Baton Rouge. This position will be responsible for traveling to job sites providing guidance and technical support on startups, problems encountered on the job, and coatings inspections on various Carboline products. This individual will assist with routine in-house work such as product evaluations, equipment maintenance and panel preparations. This is a very hands on role requiring frequent travel and heavy interaction with customers, applicators and the Carboline sales team. When not traveling in the field, this position will work out of their home office providing technical support through phone calls and email. This individual will need to be very familiar with linings, coatings and fireproofing products with prior experience working in the industrial coatings industry. Individuals with NACE certifications are highly preferred.
Minimum Requirements
5+ years Technical Service experience within the Industrial Coatings and or Fireproofing Industries
Preferred Requirements
Valid Passport; NACE Level 1, NACE Level 2 or NACE Level 3 (SSPC or AMPP)
Physical Requirements
This position requires occasional physical activity. May require lifting up to 75 lbs on occasion. May require computer usage for an extended period of time - up to 8 hours in a day. Be able to climb and meet the requirements of a 1A Ladder. Occasional exposure to various chemicals. Will require travel of 50% plus, including nighttime and weekends. Must be able to pass a respirator fit test & maintain respirator requirements.
Duties
Preparation of panels prior to coating. Have a good understanding of the basic operation of hand tools, power tools, abrasive blast cabinet and pin welder. To include minor maintenance of same. Responsible for maintaining a stock of standard panel systems. Provide documentation for panels which will be tested. Spray nuclear testing orders upon certification. Package and ship sample panels. Starting position in Field Service, will handle routine field jobs within capabilities. Travel approximately 50% of the time. Contact customers / salesmen to gather pertinent data prior to field trips. Demonstrate proper use of mixing equipment, airless and conventional spray equipment, etc., to apply Carboline or SPC products in the assigned divisions. Interpret surface preparation standards per specifications. Demonstrate use and techniques involved with inspections equipment. Train supervisors, inspectors, and painters in the above technical areas. Assist in application of new or revised product evaluations, new equipment evaluations. Carry out procedures as defined in the Technical Service Procedures Manual. Perform assigned routine office duties as required for department function. GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Leverages industry and product knowledge to drive key accounts from the top down while influencing indirect field resources in the same accounts from the bottom up. Develops high, wide and deep relationships with the largest and most complex customers and key stakeholders to increase revenue, drive brand loyalty and ensure customer satisfaction. Provides subject matter expertise for strategic initiatives (Panelization/Off-Site Construction/Nudura/Wall Systems or other area of expertise) to uncover business opportunities; build partnerships, relationships, connections; assist in developing relevant systems and processes, etc. in support of meeting established revenue targets. Leverages detailed knowledge of products and services offered to ensure that products and services consistently meet customer needs. Visits customer locations and work sites periodically to ensure customer satisfaction, promote ongoing business and expand reach within commercial and residential build projects. Collaborates with sales leadership to identify key opportunities for revenue growth and product targets within assigned region for inclusion in annual sales compensation planning. Analyzes customer's technical specifications, recommends the best product configuration and installation process, and estimates implementation effort, time, and resources. Uses technical knowledge of product offerings to advise and support sales teams with pricing estimates, sales quotations, requests for proposals and implementation guidance based on customer requirements. Reviews sales proposals for accuracy, completeness, and quality. Develops and delivers technical product presentations and materials used to engage customers and prospects and educate sales teams. Collaborates with sales teams to troubleshoot problems, develop solutions, and deliver customer training. Works with the Learning department to implement sales training and onboarding programs to prepare salespeople to discuss products and engage with potential customers or opportunities. Designs and delivers training sessions on company products, business practices, industry context, competitive information, and other topics as needed. Coaches field sales representatives on product categories technical value, proper execution of strategies, value proposition and general best practices. Evaluates and provides timely feedback to field sales representatives for growth, professional development, and opportunities for betterment When requested, participates in progress evaluations for field sales representatives tasked with driving the specialized scope
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, building construction, sales/marketing, or other related field preferred; or experience in lieu of degree. Minimum High School Diploma or GED with 7 years of construction industry experience
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 7 years of technical sales, field support, sales training, business development, and customer/account management experience is required; or a minimum of 10 years of specialty industry-related experience in lieu of a degree Experience in the construction industry such as an architect, engineer, construction manager, or installation is preferred. Understanding ICF, masonry, or rebar is a plus. Understanding how a building is constructed is highly preferred. Master-level trade experience preferred

The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $99,000 and $128,700 plus incentive compensation. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
