The Maintenance Technician supports and ensures the completion of day-to-day maintenance activities at the plant. The position provides support to leadership for all maintenance staff to drive excellence and maximize effort. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform standard work in a safe manner by following all written and verbally communicated safety rules and procedures.
Inspect and repair plant equipment, including but not limited to mechanical, welding, carpentry, electrical, instrumentation, and controls, to minimize downtime.
Document accurate maintenance activity records.
Clean and maintain assigned areas and tools to ensure proper functionality.
Participate in the continuous improvement process.
Report incidents, near misses, and any non-conformances through the appropriate channels.
Exemplify the expected values of the organization, including following policies and standard work procedures.
Give input on and coordinate maintenance supply purchases.
Perform Preventive Maintenance Program to ensure completion and accuracy.
Other projects and tasks as assigned.
Crosstrain on other production functions to aid as business needs dictate.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for all dispenser equipment in the field. Ability to visit and evaluate a plant to order the proper dispenser equipment needed to do the job right (such as conduit for electrical, hose lengths, position of dispenser, etc.) Install the dispenser equipment and help assist the customer in matching our dispenser to their plant (such as counts, added products, etc.). When the install is complete tech is responsible to clean up any mess that was created during the visit. Will be responsible to pick up any equipment in the field that needs to be removed, and returned to a Euclid facility. Responsible to wash out any tanks immediately upon being returned at the Euclid Chemical plant with the guidance of the plant manager on the waste product. Willingness and ability to restore any used equipment that can be reused. Will be required to do paperwork (such as DOT Certifications, Expense Reports, Daily or Weekly Reports, etc.) The DOT Certifications will be done professionally on Euclid Letterhead and handed to the customer. May be asked to transfer safe amounts of material from location to location (such as raw materials for concrete testing, admixture, fiber, etc.). Required to order equipment and install that equipment at the designated customer location and maintain that equipment after installation. Perform preventative maintenance on the equipment when needed. Assist in state inspections where necessary. Respond to customer issues with those dispensers when needed. Assure that their truck is properly equipped with the necessary parts to fix or repair the equipment.

Travel: Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight stays when required.
Flexibility: A flexible schedule, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends, depending on customer needs.

These fall into three main areas of skills training:
MET-Mechanical, Electrical & Trim. Candidates will learn to remove and refit processes of all main vehicle systems, including air conditioning, vehicle alignment and Hybrid & Electric vehicle systems
Panel-repair. Candidates will learn to repair bodywork by replacing panels, filling defects and carrying out techniques such as welding, bond and riveting and correcting misalignment
Paint-surface repair. Candidates will learn how to prepare surfaces and carry out paint refinishing through the following techniques; sealing, masking, priming, application of base coat & lacquer, repairing defects and polishing
Duties will include:
Accurately and skilfully undertake all aspects of the motor vehicle body repair
Detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repair
Working under direct supervision at all times to achieve full competence and qualification
Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with manufacturer and British Standard industry guidelines
Any other ad hoc duties and when required
In addition to this, you will also gain IMI qualifications in air conditioning, electric vehicle (EV) systems, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and welding
Training:
The programme for the Multi-Skill Accident Repair Apprenticeship level 3 incorporates underpinning knowledge delivered in partnership and managed by EMTEC College based in Nottingham. You will be required to travel to Nottingham for 7 separate weeks across each year. Travel and accommodation costs will be covered by Halo
