GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Measures chemicals and raw materials to specific requirements per batch instructions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Properly weighs chemicals and raw materials as specified on the batch card.
Accurately and efficiently maintains chemicals and raw materials.
Work with production schedule to maintain efficient use of blenders, meet production expectations, fill customer orders, and shipping requirements.
Advise the supervisor of problems or low stock levels of raw materials.
Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
Report loss of production and spills to the supervisor.
Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process, and quality system.
Ensure compliance with the QMS, EHS, IMS, and other company policies.
Provide support to the Safety Committee.
Operate forklift or other transporting equipment safely and effectively.
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
No formal experience requirement.

Position Overview

Requirements
- Experience in building services maintenance, particularly mechanical and electrical systems
- Qualified to 18th Edition or above in Electrical Engineering
- IPAF / PASMA training beneficial
- L8 Legionella Awareness Training Beneficial
- Strong understanding of PPM and reactive maintenance processes
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with clients and team members
- Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and compliance
- Ability to conduct audits and inspections of equipment and sites

In this role, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including grass cutting using a Ride on Mower and overseeing the general maintenance of the cemetery grounds, ensuring they remain tidy, well-kept and respectful for visitors and loved ones. Your work will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the cemetery, whilst upholding professionalism, dignity and care for the environment at all times.

Workshop Controller job role:
- Liaise daily with the Service Department and be on hand to answer any queries from other departments.
- Incoming work is planned as well as managing the time and resource of your team.
- Assign technicians to tasks ensuring productivity is maximised and that deadlines are adhered to.
- Performance management, coaching and development of the team.
- Quality checking, ordering of parts, audits and compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Requirements for Workshop Controller:
- Previous experience as a Workshop Controller / Supervisor is essential in a Commercial Vehicle workshop.
- Ideally have a formal qualification to NVQ level 3 or equivalent
- Class 1 or 2 licence desirable
