Main Responsibilities include:
Learn core manufacturing and engineering skills, knowledge and behaviours through the apprenticeship programme.
Attend all courses and classes which are organised by the training provider and Busch GVT.
Complete relevant projects & paperwork in a timely manner.
Learn and understand the importance of Health & Safety within the workplace and the college.
Adherence to health & safety policies and procedures at both college and workplace.
Acquire an understanding and knowledge of Busch products and applications.
Learn how to manufacture, repair and assemble Busch products.
Follow our processes and ‘Back to basics’ principles at all times.
Carry out inspections of work to ensure quality of work is to the company standard.
Manage and organise workload
Involvement in continuous improvement activities, 5s activities and Lean Manufacturing
Maintain high level of housekeeping at all times within workshop
Training:In-house training plus the candidate will follow a Level 3 Apprenticeship programme and study towards a Level 3 Machining Technician qualification. This training will be structured and delivered by Cheshire College – South & West. Assist chefs with the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals to the required standards.
Learn and apply correct techniques for food preparation, storage, and hygiene.
Support in maintaining a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment in accordance with Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations (including COSHH and the correct use of PPE).
Be aware of and follow the College’s allergy procedures.
Assist with stock rotation, deliveries, and the correct use of ingredients to minimise waste.
Participate in the planning and production of menus under the supervision of senior chefs.
Learn to use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Support catering for formal college events, conferences, and high-volume dining services.
Attend college and apprenticeship training sessions as required and complete coursework on time.
Training:
The appointee will work towards achieving a Commis Level 2 Hospitality and Catering Apprenticeship at Capital City College, in London.
Attendance is one day per week and transport costs will be cover.
Mentoring will be provided by experienced in-house chefs.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
