The role of Support Engineer Apprentice within BAE Systems involves the application of engineering and logistic principles to develop solutions to support the Astute, Dreadnought and SSNA Class of Submarines and their operations. As a Support Engineer Apprentice, the role will involve developing & applying your understanding of a range of Supportability Engineering Integrated Product Support (IPS) processes, tools, systems and techniques. Undertaking a range of different engineering activities aimed at developing the knowledge, skills and behaviours to meet the Engineering Technician – Technical Support apprenticeship standard while rotating around the different teams on the floorplate to develop into a well-rounded Support Engineer. Ability to lead, manage and develop local field sales representatives through coaching and mentoring.
