A Cross-Functional role responsible for overseeing projects, creating or updating processes, and assisting in resolving facility issues through our New Jersey Operations facilities. This position will possibly support our Indiana Operations and other Stonhard facilities as the need arises.
Process Engineering
Analyze current production data.
Have a hands-on approach to determine solutions to everyday plant issues.
Work with Maintenance, Plant Engineers and other departments to execute solutions safely, efficiently, and expeditiously.
Improve manufacturing performance, efficiency, and promote overall plant safety.
Become a subject matter expert (SME) on key pieces of manufacturing equipment and analytical process tools.
Provide technical knowledge and support for all site operations, and train employees on new manufacturing practices as needed.
Evaluate existing operations by conducting process analysis, time studies, bottle neck analysis, process hazard analysis, etc., utilizing Lean and Six Sigma Tools.
Engage with operators to find areas of improvement, working closely with Continuous Improvement in assisting in determining the best options for process improvement tactics.
Analyze problems to determine root causes. Propose solutions to overcome and correct problems for permanent solutions and analyze output under new practices.
Project Management
Create engineering solutions to problems related to our manufacturing process and facility needs. Utilize sound engineering principles to create these solutions. Work with suppliers and other outside resources to develop the solution into an executable project.
Evaluate cost analysis and ROI analysis for proposed solutions to determine capital project validity.
Prepare capital project documentation for submission and review.
Work with purchasing as required to facilitate projects.
Manage the economics and delivery of assigned capital projects to completion.

Minimum Requirements
B.S. Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Chemical)

Experience with capital project implementation and management.
Strong understanding of Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma and Lean Methodologies
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills specific to data driven decisions
High Proficiency in Excel.
Proficiency in Windows, Outlook, and AutoCAD.
Strong written, communication and presentation skills especially in group or high-level settings.
Preferred Requirements
Manufacturing experience.
Green Belt Certification.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated MET Technician to join a busy, professional accident repair centre. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a high-performing team. You will play a key role in the repair process, carrying out vehicle strip, fit, and mechanical repairs while ensuring every vehicle is returned to pre-accident condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out the removal and refitting of vehicle components to support high-quality body repairs
- Dismantle and rebuild vehicles efficiently, following repair methods and manufacturer guidelines
- Accurately identify and report any additional damage not included within the original estimate
- Perform mechanical repairs including suspension work, four-wheel alignment, and diagnostic procedures
- Complete GEO and ADAS-related tasks where required
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure repairs are completed on time and to a high standard
- Maintain a strong focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction throughout the repair process
Requirements:
