In this role, you will manage a caseload of fast-track RTA cases through all stages of the OIC portal. Our ideal candidate is a skilled negotiator with a proven track record in handling Fast Track RTA claims and possesses excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities

You’ll be working outdoors in all weathers as part of our ranger teams, supporting our strategy to restore a healthy, beautiful and natural environment. Your role will be working to protect and improve the health and wildlife richness of our countryside, preserving all the benefits we get from it and helping our visitors to experience and get closer to the conservation of our special outdoor places.
Your training will be delivered via a combination of mandatory week-long college blocks and online learning, with all expenses and travel paid. There may also be opportunities to travel to other National Trust locations with some overnight stays to expand your learning and experience.
As well as the ranger base at Fyne Court, you will be working at a variety of sites across the Quantock Hills – an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that features heathland and woodland sites that are designated as Sites of Special Scientific Interest and require specialised care. We also look after a stretch of historic drove road on the Quantocks featuring overstood beech hedge banks dating back over 100 years, and have numerous veteran trees on our sites which require long term management. We have big ambitions for improving these sites for nature and are currently developing wild flower meadow creation and woodland restoration plans following a large loss of ash trees from our sites. The National Trust also own two sites on the Blackdown Hills AONB – Wellington Monument and Quartz Moor, which are important areas of acid grassland and marshland habitat. No college attendance required as training will take place onsite.

You will achieve a certification in Refrigerant Handling (EC 842-2006)

Knightshayes Court at Bolham, Tiverton, Devon is and exceptional garden with formal gardens around the house and extensive woodland gardens surrounding. The apprenticeship will be mainly focused on the ornamental gardens that are undergoing a level of restoration. You will be heavily involved with this restoration, learning about weed management, composting, pruning of a wide variety of trees and shrubs and ultimately looking after specific areas and be guided through their restoration and replanting. What is an Electrical Wholesaler?
Electrical wholesalers sell the products we all use in our homes, businesses, entertainment venues, cafes that give us access to electricity - from lighting our homes through to floodlighting a football match, from recharging a mobile phone to recharging an electric vehicle. The products you will be working with are used in domestic, industrial, and commercial settings, and are installed by contractors and electricians.
After full training responsibilities will include:
Managing stock in and out (to external clients)
Picking and packing
Store transfers and stock control
Completing the paperwork within the office
Raising quotations
Trade counter
Sales calls
Processing orders
Administration
Answering the telephone
Some heavy lifting will be involved with loading and unloading the vans
Training:Completing a Level 2 Trade Supplier Apprenticeship Standard, consisting of:
Knowledge and competence qualification in trade supplier at Level 2
End-Point Assessment (EPA) - final test and observation
The vocational and academic training aspects are separated and delivered by separate teams. The vocational training and assessment is conducted, more often than not, on site according to the employers wishes.
Notice of dates is agreed well in advance of a site visit. Training and assessment is conducted both on and off the job, according to the needs of the course and the learner.
