Liaise with technical colleagues, customers and insurance companies to negotiate the repair

Working safely and wearing the correct PPE you will build frames from different materials so that concrete can be poured into these frames to produce the structure of the building being erected.
Above will be done in stages on a schedule so that the main structure of the building is built accurately and to the correct quality.
You will learn wood working skills, concrete terminology and different mixes used for different parts of the building.
Install re-inforcement materials where necessary as specified by the architect and the drawings.
Remove frames once concrete is set and check quality and dimensions to the correct drawings.
Use of hand and power tools will be required for this role and training will be given on their correct safe use.
Work will be mainly outside and some working at heights will be required.
Training:We are looking at training options but they are as follows:-
Block release to a local college in Stratford where you will study theory and practical lessons. When not at college you will be on site 5 days a week learning on the job skills to supplement your training.

The role includes tying up and untying the vessel when she enters and leaves port, plus general duties around the vessel when she is in port or at sea.
The successful candidate will have their own cabin with toilet and shower room.

In addition to the above, B & C Coachmakers Ltd will involve the apprentice in paint preparation and paint techniques.Training:The ‘Heritage Engineering Level 3 Apprenticeship’ is a nationally recognised qualification delivered by ‘HSA’ from its Coachbuilding Academy based at ‘Brooklands Museum’ in Surrey. Delivered over 36 months on a block release basis, you will attend your academy on average every 5 weeks for a 5-day block of training running from Monday to Friday, the remaining 80% of the time you will be working with your employer. If required, your employer will cover the accommodation and travel costs.Training Outcome:On completion of the Programme, you will be qualified as a Heritage Engineering Technician. Employment with B & C Coachworks Ltd after completion of the apprenticeship is not guaranteed but very likely, subject to performance and a position being available.
