We are looking for a Social Worker to join our Children's Looked After Team
This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in Frontline and Children Looked After work.
About the team
The team consists of a small group of social workers that report to a senior practitioner. Their work includes assessment, care planning, and permanency planning for children and young people, both of whom are in care proceedings, as well as children who are looked after following final court orders.
They are responsible for progressing work within the statutory framework for Looked After Children, which involves ensuring Looked After Children reviews, personal education planning meetings, and Looked After Children medicals are progressed within statutory timescales.
Sometimes the team works with a cohort of unaccompanied asylum-seeking children and will be expected to take part in age assessments in their respect.
*Please note that the following opportunity is a Locum contract with a minimum duration of 3 months.
About you
Knowledge and experience working within a Frontline Team such as Child Protection or Referral and Assessment is essential for this role. You will need to hold a degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) as well as 3 years post qualifying experience. A Social Work England registration and access to your own vehicle is a requirement.

Key Responsibilities:
The post holder will support the HR department by ensuring high quality administrative support within a range of areas:
Provide administrative support across all HR functions.
Assist with HR administration in accordance with university policies and procedures, including recruitment, probation, performance & development reviews, starters & leavers, holiday & sickness records and contract extensions.
Monitoring and management of the HR shared Mailbox. Ensuring all enquires are responded to or passed to the relevant members of the team.
Management and maintenance of the institute and University HR information systems, including inputting absence records and appraisal records.
Preparation of departmental communications and formal letters.
Organise small scale events or meetings (book rooms, order refreshments, send out invites and directions etc.)
Assist with maintaining filing and data management to GDPR standards.
Assist the HR team with the ongoing development of processes and project work.
Training:
The learner will be studying the HR Support Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard qualification.
CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice.
Training Outcome:
You will gain a recognised HR qualification as part of your apprenticeship.
