Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning
Lead the annual budgeting process, working cross-functionally to ensure clarity and accountability at every level.Develop rolling forecasts and long-term financial plans to support growth and investment strategies.Manage cashflow forecasting and treasury oversight, ensuring liquidity and planning agility.Build and maintain financial models for scenario planning, site investment, and risk assessment.
Banking, Funding & Investor Relations

Systems, Controls & Team Leadership
Lead, develop, and structure the finance team to deliver a high-performing, service-oriented function during the maternity cover period.Maintain a high standard of internal controls, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and compliance.Support succession planning and upskilling within the team, in line with the business’s value of developing the best people.Encourage continuous improvement by leveraging technology and team capability to streamline finance workflows.
Other Responsibilities
Stay up to date with regulatory, tax, and sector-specific developments, advising on any necessary changes or risks.Champion a values-led, commercially focused culture within and beyond the finance team.
Experience & Qualities Criteria

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Occupational Therapist to work in an exceptional mental health hospital based in the Romford, Essex area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This service helps patients rebuild confidence, self-esteem and hopes for the future. Care provided over two wards and they offer an age-appropriate environment for those who also have a mental health/personality disorder and/or mild to moderate dementia and are in need of physical health care needs
**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as an Occupational Therapist registered with the HCPC**
As the Occupational Therapist your key responsibilities include:
Manage a caseload of older service clients with complex needs; assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions
Provide leadership through supervision and appraisal for therapy assistants
Participate in planning, development and evaluation of occupational therapy service within your team
Lead on delegated projects in consultation with Lead Occupational Therapist and the hospital director
Contribute to the maintenance and development of the Occupational Therapy Service
Supervise occupational therapy students on practice placement
The following skills and experienced would be preferred and beneficial for this role:
Proven experience in mental health and knowledge of the Mental Health Act
Patient centric & commitment to delivering high quality care
Fine tuned decision making skills
Excellent organisational capability
Effective communication skills
The successful Occupational Therapist will receive an excellent salary up to £43,897 per annum DOE. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:

Simulation & Modelling Engineer – Cambridge – Cutting‑Edge Technology Projects
I’m supporting a growing engineering team in Cambridge who are looking to bring in an experienced Simulation & Modelling Engineer to work on a range of technically challenging, concept‑driven projects. This is a role for someone who enjoys diving into complex systems, understanding how they behave, and turning that insight into robust models that guide real‑world engineering decisions.
You’ll be working closely with multidisciplinary teams made up of physicists, engineers, mathematicians and designers, contributing to early‑stage ideas, shaping system behaviour, and helping to turn concepts into functioning prototypes. The work is fast‑paced, varied, and ideal for someone who thrives on solving difficult problems with a mix of analytical thinking and hands‑on engineering.
The position centres around building and refining mathematical models using MATLAB and Simulink, analysing system interactions, and supporting the development of new technologies. You’ll draw on your background in physics, electronics, mathematics or a related discipline, and you’ll bring industry experience that allows you to approach challenges with both rigour and creativity. Experience within defence is helpful but absolutely not essential — strong fundamentals and curiosity matter more.
You’ll be involved in model‑based systems engineering, developing physics‑driven models, shaping system architectures, and contributing to test environments and code reviews. Any exposure to hardware‑in‑the‑loop, DSP, radar signal processing or embedded code generation would be a welcome bonus, but the team is open‑minded and supportive of people who want to broaden their skillset.
