First Glance Hair Salon offers Kleek Apprenticeships to help train new team members with the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to be successful in their salon. Alongside the outstanding training being provided by the salon team and Kleek educators, you will also be learning how a salon works, all while earning a wage.

You will be training towards a Hair Professional Level 2 qualification, supported by Kleek Apprenticeships and the team at your home salon
The level 2 qualification in hairdressing includes consultation, shampoo/condition and treating the hair, cutting hair using a range of techniques, styling and finishing and colouring and lightening hair
You do not need any formal qualifications to start the apprenticeship; however, you will need to have passed English and maths to complete it. Kleek Apprenticeships will help you gain these functional skills alongside the apprenticeship with our bespoke learning modules
The programme is ideal for those with no experience in the industry who want a successful and exciting career in hairdressing

After you have completed your Hair Professional Level 2 you will be a fully qualified hair stylist and will be able to work independently within your salon

· Caption, tag and store non-commissioned images in the team’s asset management system
· Publish images to press website
· Manage requests from Channel 4 colleagues for the supply of images
· Liaise with production companies to obtain non-commissioned images
· Liaise with and supply images to external picture desks
· Assist picture producers in the setting up and attendance of photoshoots, both on location/in studio or in office. This includes supporting completion of necessary documents such as health & safety briefs and caption docs.
· Through in-house training, eventually commission photoshoots for Marketing needs, primarily for streaming platforms but also for editorial and digital marketing activity.
· Make recommendations on how Production processes could be improved through templates, AI, DAM workflows or onboarding packs, working with asset management and marketing operations.Training Outcome:A role in the Pictures Team can lead to careers in photo production, creative commissioning, digital asset management, and marketing content creation. It builds skills for roles like Picture Producer, Creative Lead, or positions in creative operations, brand marketing, and wider content strategy.Employer Description:If you are looking for an opportunity to gain work experience and a qualification, then an apprenticeship at Channel 4 might be for you.
Our Apprenticeships are full-time, with four days per week spent working in a C4 department and one day per week completing the formal learning parts of the apprenticeship.
The formal training provided will consist of workshops, tutorials, webinars, coaching and in some cases residential boot camps. The training is dependent on the qualification your apprenticeship offers and will be explained in detail by the training provider before you officially begin the course. An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation
At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying
All training will be delivered online by Wise Origin, offering flexible, expert-led instruction with interactive sessions and digital resources
This ensures apprentices can develop their skills while balancing work commitments
Training Outcome:This apprenticeship offers a strong foundation for a career in IT. Upon successful completion, you may progress into a permanent IT Support role or further your development through higher-level IT apprenticeships or specialist qualifications in areas such as:
