Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care such as washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
Assist with daily living activities (meal preparation, light household tasks, companionship)
Support medication prompts in line with training and care plans
Observe and record changes in health and well-being, reporting to senior staff
Promote independence, choice, and dignity in every aspect of care
Follow safeguarding procedures to keep people safe
Travel between clients’ homes (mileage reimbursed)
Attend training and complete off-job learning as part of your apprenticeship programme

The duties will include:
Assisting teachers with the strategies to enhance attainment levels of students
1-1 tutor/mentor
Deliver pre-prepared programmes as directed by class teacher
Assisting students to access the set curriculum
Help to promote students’ good behaviour and discipline
Liaise with teachers with regard to students’ behaviour and attainment
Work in various areas of the Academy under supervision
Assist with the development of appropriate resources to support the students
Carry out administrative tasks directed by the teachers or line manager
Liaise with other members of the team supporting the students when asked to do so
Provide oral and written contributions to reviews of students’ progress, as appropriate
Provide regular oral feedback about students to the teacher
Assist teachers in the creation and maintenance of wall displays

As part of your role, you will be:
Answering the phone and greeting clients
Preparing and maintaining client files, updating back-office systems to ensure the information is accurate and complete, requesting additional information where necessary
Sending authority letters and gathering policy information from providers
Managing adviser’s diaries and tasks lists to ensure client reviews and other service actions are delivered on time
Producing client meeting packs including valuations
Managing fee payments
Supporting the administration of the Investment Committee, managing changes to client portfolios and issuing regular communications such as e-newsletters
Supporting group pensions administration including auto-enrolment
Prioritising workload to meet company service standards
Training:Your apprenticeship will be delivered at your place of work.
