We are looking for someone to open, develop and lead at our new 6 bed Ofsted-regulated Children’s Home - Meadow House supporting children aged 11-17 years with EBD. The home is based in Hither Green, Southeast London.
Salary: £60,000 per annum
Hours: 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday
As Registered Manager you'll ensure the home provides a safe, nurturing, and child-centred environment that complies with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including the Children’s Homes Regulations, the Quality Standards, and Ofsted inspection frameworks.
They will manage budgets and resources effectively, contribute to service development, and drive continuous improvement to secure positive outcomes for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management
Act as the Ofsted Registered Manager for the home, ensuring full regulatory compliance.
Recruit and develop your own team
Provide visible leadership to the team, modelling professional standards and a child-focused culture.
Supervise, mentor and appraise staff at all levels, ensuring access to professional development.
Ensure team have the necessary support and training to deliver excellent care practice
Chair meetings, contribute to service planning, and provide management cover as required.
Safeguard and promote the welfare of children at all times, working in line with statutory guidance.
Oversee the development of personalised care plans to support young people with complex needs, trauma, and challenging behaviours.
Ensure inclusive, anti-discriminatory practice and equal opportunities are embedded across the service.
Audit case files, monitor standards and implement recommendations to drive and continually improve quality.
Operational & Financial Management
Manage the home’s allocated budget, including team resourcing and financial monitoring.
Ensure efficient rota planning to maintain safe staffing levels.
Prepare accurate management information, reports and forecasts.
Monitor KPIs and quality measures to ensure the service meets or exceeds expectations.
Work closely with social workers, families, schools, health, police and other agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
Represent the home at internal and external meetings, panels and inspections.
Contribute to policy and practice development within the wider service.
Lead business planning for the home, linking objectives to service priorities and outcomes.
Actively participate in service improvement initiatives, user feedback and consultation.
Ensure the home remains “Ofsted inspection ready” at all times.
About You:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
At least 4 years’ post-qualification experience, including 2+ years in a management role within a children’s residential setting.
Expert knowledge of children’s homes regulations, safeguarding legislation and Ofsted inspection frameworks.
Experience of managing budgets, resources and staffing effectively.
Strong leadership, supervision, and team development skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentation.
Ability to work in partnership with multi-agency professionals.
Experience of driving service improvement and working to KPIs.
Additional professional training in therapeutic or trauma-informed practice would be helpful
Experience of contributing to policy development would be beneficial

To provide effective administrative support within the Customer Services team.
To work with a positive outlook, ready to support both the internal and external Customer Service / Sales teams and prioritise workload to ensure that the deadlines set are achieved. The successful candidate will be required to be flexible in the role.
Understand the nature of the business and the commercial implications of the sales / customer relationship.
Principal Accountabilities: Sales Order Entry:• Raise Sales Orders & Acknowledgements• Complete 2nd stage Price Checks• Raise Origination Sales Orders & Acknowledgements• Add Origination Sales Order Numbers to Graphics Tracker• Maintain Despatch Schedules / Issue MPS report to planning / CR• Order bank maintenance – daily date change management / balance clearing• General housekeeping – Scanning / Saving PO’s & Acknowledgements to relevant drives
Job Maintenance:• Run daily active jobs list, look for past due jobs not started – highlight any date issues to CS• Run daily active jobs list – progress chase jobs through the factory• Run weekly ‘R’ spec reports, highlight R jobs within the 4 week window - feed in to CS team for action• Run weekly unconfirmed ‘A’ spec jobs within the 4 week window – feed into CS for date management • Update graphics tracker with A Spec job numbers and live DTC’s• Support with Outsource Process administration – copy works orders, print labels, create job packs etc
Specifications:• K3 Development completion – specification writing, stocking UOM conversion etc whenever required• Create SKU Converter / Upload to Syspro SKU post creation• Supersession Completion – deactivate stock code
Reports:• Preparation, clean up and circulation of weekly Aged Stock report • Monthly Stock code housekeeping – run report to identify codes with no movement in 18months – start supersession process• GDNI – Run weekly / checking for despatches not invoiced• GDNI – Month end check, ensure all despatches are captured at COP on final working day• Job Shortfall Report – populate & maintain for submission to planning
Support Functions:• Provide holiday cover for both Administration and Customer Services team• Assisting with answering incoming calls “within 3 rings” and attending meetings to support where requested by your Line Manager• Will occasionally be required to support in other, more specialist areas across the department once fully trained and able to do so e.g. internal trial management / stock sheet support• Will occasionally be required to provide support in other areas of the business e.g. Provide cover for Reception / Studio dept.

We are looking for a Support Worker to join a Semi-independent living provider in Wiltshire.

About the role
You will be working in a supported living accommodation services for young people aged 16 +. As the support worker your duties will include:
Supporting young people on property visits and moving in and out of properties.
Supporting with housing issues i.e maintenance.
Supporting in the community with appointments.
Liaising with other care professionals.
Shift times:
Monday - Sunday
09:00- 17:00 / 11:00-19:00
About you
The successful candidate will have experience working with people 16+, providing them with support to gain essential life skills.
Must be a driver and own their own vehicle.
