Employer Description:At H & S Design Solutions, we have a wealth of experience in detailing light gauge steel and are proud to work with some of the finest LGS (light gauge steel) providers in the country.
The majority of our projects are SFS (steel framing system) façades, ranging from small 500m² schools to 50,000m² plus residential developments. We have dealt with standard loose stud and track, over-sail, high bay wall and even pre-panelised frames. We offer a very accurate and fast turnaround on all of our SFS façade projects due to our understanding of these systems.
We use a powerful 3D modelling software called Tekla structures to detail all of our projects. This means that all drawing issues are accompanied by a 3D IFC (industry foundation class) file. IFC files allow different 3D modelling software’s to communicate directly with one and another, meaning that in some instances, we have been able to achieve full approval from our model alone and only using drawings for fabrication and installation. This service level is not generally offered on SFS projects, giving us a clear advantage over other LGS drawing offices.
Due to the powerful nature and 3D capabilities of Tekla, modelling stand-alone structures is stress-free. All steel and concrete structural elements can be detailed in our model, with fabrication drawings and CAM data being directly exportable. We have found this enables us to produce highly detailed information and reduce any chance of inaccuracy.
Our extensive understanding of SFS façade, modular and load-bearing LGS structures allows us to offer an unrivalled drafting service.Working Hours :Monday to Thursday, 9.00am - 5:15pm.
