Liaison in preventative maintenance planning and execution planned shutdowns
Maintaining and promoting Health & Safety rules and regulations, following all company processes and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience needed as a Maintenance Fitter:
A good amount of suitable working experience is more important than qualifications
Have a strong, practical mechanical systems background, heavy industry preferred - conveyors, drive systems, belts, bearings, shafts, pulleys etc.
Possess a fault-finding mindset to identify defects and recommend appropriate action
Possess the ability to remove and fit bearings
Adheres to site-specific SHE procedures and Safe Working Practices.
