We’re supporting a rapidly growing renewable energy EPC as they scale up delivery of new solar farms, microgrid systems and district heating networks across the UK.
They’re now looking for an experienced HV Engineer to join their engineering team, supporting high-voltage system design, network integration and on-site delivery across multiple new-build projects.
The HV Engineer role will involve:
Overseeing high-voltage design activities, ensuring alignment with technical requirements, project specifications and contractual obligations
Reviewing Employer’s Requirements and technical documentation to support robust HV system design decisions
Coordinating with DNOs, substations, SCADA teams, PPC suppliers and other key interfaces to ensure safe and compliant system integration
Supporting procurement activities by reviewing technical solutions, cable specifications, switchgear selections and related HV equipment packages
Developing detailed HV engineering documentation including cable schedules, protection settings, single line diagrams, interface registers and commissioning documentation
Providing on-site HV expertise during installation, testing, energisation and commissioning phases

Supporting safe systems of work, operational readiness and technical assurance from design through to handover
The successful HV Engineer will need:
