Identify potential product development risks and create a strategy to mitigate them while maintaining project timelines and quality. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

Make all intermediates and finished products by adding specific quantities of certain raw materials and/or intermediates to a batch tank or grinding mill according to a written formula using proper batch making techniques and safe methods. This position also requires application and monitoring of established quality procedures and methods for production batches. Compiles, tabulates and summarizes QC data for analysis. Prepares and offers constructive criticisms relative to variables and deviations from prescribed standards of quality. Maintains statistical records having to do with quality, nature and causes of defects. Expedites and follows up changes to allow for prescribed quality standards. Request raw materials for use in formulas. Position requires knowledge of batch making techniques, machinery operation, scales and meter use, and formula knowledge.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Weigh and/or measure out quantities of solvents, resins, pigments (or dispersions), and additives into blending tanks or grinding mills according to a batch ticket. Tend mixing or grinding equipment and maintain control over time, heat, mix speed, etc. Upon batch completion, take product sample to QC Lab for QC checks. Drive tractor-trailer or any unit assigned by Facility Operations Manager to make deliveries and pick-ups of materials, finished products, empty drums, etc. Perform pre-trip/post trip safety inspections prior to very trip, pre-trip inspection includes but is not limited to: checking motor, brakes, lights, and tires for proper operation conditions. Check and assist in loading and/or unloading of freight. Obtain proper authorizations for all deliveries and pick-ups. Maintain accurate DOT driver log of required information. Perform warehouse duties to include picking, packing, shipping and receiving.

Deliver product material as directed Follow proper procedures for unloading all equipment including tankers Assist with loading trailer according to bills of lading. What will you do this year?In your role as a Playland Catering Supervisor, your primary accountabilities will be to:
Supervise and direct the activities of up to 12 event staff, including organizing and assigning tasks, managing time sheets, and providing guidance.Address and resolve any issues that arise with Playland BBQ guests to ensure a positive experience.Maintain a high standard of guest satisfaction through exceptional service and attention to detail.Coordinate employee break schedules to ensure smooth operations during shifts.Monitor inventory levels in designated areas and manage inventory count sheets for accuracy.Ensure compliance with local health and safety guidelines and regulations.Control food waste and minimize loss to maintain cost-efficiency.Lead by example, educating staff on maintaining clean and sanitary workstations at all times.Oversee the preparation of food and ingredients for Playland BBQs to ensure quality and consistency.Supervise the maintenance of all coolers and freezers, ensuring proper labeling, dating, and rotation of products.Step in to perform tasks or fill in for staff when coverage is required.Ensure adherence to the PNE Uniform and Appearance policy at all times.Perform other related duties as required
What else?
Good knowledge of food and beverage operations, food hygiene and quality standards.Experience working in the food and beverage industry at a supervisory level.Working knowledge of the PNE operations, programs and leadership skills.Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.Excellent customer service.Ability to function independently under pressure while meeting multiple service demands.FOODSAFE Level 1 certificate, or willingness to obtainMust be able to work various rotating shifts – days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.Post-Secondary education related to this position is considered an asset.Successful candidates must undergo a Criminal Record Check.
