Essential Functions
Work all designated Purchase Orders for review and validation of total demand requirements for raw materials, containers and cartons, and make decisions on proper order quantity, approved vendor and delivery date. Track on Time Delivery orders and follow-up purchase orders that were not delivered by vendor's agreed delivery date and resolve delivery issues. Place purchase orders using LN for raw materials, containers and cartons. Work closely with the Corporate Scheduler to prioritize and coordinate raw materials, cartons, and containers for production requirements. Resolve inventory discrepancies with Accounts Payable. Review each requirement and consolidate purchases where possible, modify and establish order quantities based on coast, production levels and current inventory. In conjunction with Corporate Purchasing, Plant Management and Scheduling, determine appropriate reorder points and stocking levels for raw materials, cartons, and containers. Work with Corporate Purchasing to evaluate and select distributors for raw materials based on quality, price and delivery. Recommend vendors for product evaluation. Maintain and correlate Purchase order receipt packages for raw materials, cartons and containers received. Take an active role in hazard recognition and injury prevention by following all safety rules & regulations and report all injuries and incidents to your supervisor. Follow all environmental rules and regulations to ensure hazardous materials and waste are managed in an environmentally responsible manner.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Fugro in Aberdeen for an Offshore Personnel Co-Ordinator. This is an ongoing temporary position and we would consider full time or part time applicants.
As an Offshore Personnel Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating offshore and onshore operations on a day-to-day basis, ensuring timely
preparation and smooth running and completion of project tasks.
You will collaborate with the Operations Supervisor and Project Managers in the forward planning of crews and, when required, crew selection. Additionally, you will source personnel from third-party providers as needed. Liaising with
offshore staff regarding crew changes, next trips, processing expenses, and
assisting with any queries from offshore staff will be part of your duties. Ensuring that all visas and required documentation for offshore work are
obtained and up-to-date prior to mobilisation is also a crucial aspect of this role.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in offshore
operations and personnel coordination is preferred.

As part of a Port Task Group, load and unload vessels to meet port deadlines and operational commitments. You'll also learn how to operate cranes mechanical equipment to load and unload pallets, containers and other cargo.
Primarily based at the home of Army Maritime in Marchwood, Southampton.
You could be deployed worldwide– wherever the British Army has a presence.
Gain your Category C+E Driving Licence and learn how to use equipment such as an Industrial Forklift and cranes.
Gain MHE qualifications and a Level 2 Port Operative Apprenticeship.
Training:Step 1 - You'll start with your initial military training which will teach you how to be a soldier - this will cover everything from fieldcraft to handling a rifle. If you join as a Junior Soldier (under 17 years and 6 months), you’ll do a 23-week basic military training course at Harrogate. If you join as a Regular Soldier (over 17 years and 6 months), you’ll do the regular 14-week adult basic training.
Step 2 - Next, you will undertake your 15-week Combat Logistician course at the Defence School of Transport in Leconfield. During this, you will earn your Category C+E Driving Licence and study general service driver modules. This training also gives you the opportunity to gain a broader knowledge on the Royal Logistic Corps functions and roles.
Step 3 - Then you’ll complete the Port Operator Class 3 course where you will learn the safety aspects of working in a hazardous port environment and gain your MHE Licences. You’ll also learn how to transfer cargo between military and civilian transport using cranes and other equipment.
On promotion, and after earning two further MHE Specialist Qualifications, you will begin the Port Operator Class 2 course. Later on, you will complete the Port Operator Class 1 course which includes learning how to be a Crane Supervisor.
