Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals
Contributing to care planning and coaching support workers
Take an active professional role in promoting the services offered when dealing with relatives, prospective residents and enquiries
Participate in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation
Be responsible for making and reporting realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care
Be responsible for administrating medication to the residents in accordance with policies and procedures
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
Proven experience of working in a care setting
A good team player
Good verbal and written communication skills
Have a genuine desire to care for others
The successful Senior Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £13.50 per hour and the annual salary is £25,272 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 36 hours a week on night shifts only. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:

Mileage paid 25p per mile (T&C’s apply)

We are looking for a Children’s Social Worker to join a Safeguarding team.
This role requires a Social Work qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in permanent contract/s.
About the team
This team works with vulnerable children who are subject to child protection plans and works in collaboration with the Children in Need team to identify risk that can affect a child’s welfare. The day-to-day responsibilities include carrying out regular home visits, reviewing Care Plans every 6 months and carrying out child centred practice with children. The team take effective communication with parent’s/carers very seriously to ensure positive outcomes for each child involved and ultimately reduce risk.
About you
A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of three years experience in permanent contract/s is essential in order to be considered for this role. Experience in carrying out child centred assessments is essential, along with excellent communication skills. You will need to show a passion and enthusiasm for integrated working and an understanding of how to engage with parent’s/carers in order to be successful in this role.
