The team work in partnership with disabled adults to understand and support them in what they need. In this team they also promote independence for the adults whilst protecting them. The team of social workers, work alongside the social managers and clinical leads and complete face to face visits. Completing care act assessments, mental capacity assessments and community DOL assessments are all part of the role. The team work within the Care Act 2014 at all times and work in a strengths based way.
About you
A degree within Social Work (Degree, DipSW, CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years’ experience is required to be deemed suitable for this role. The ability to complete Mental Capacity and /or Best Interest Assessments, eligibility assessments and relevant documents for the community DOL is important. You would need to ensure that the requirements of the MCA 2005 are met and that the service users’ rights under the ECHR (human rights Act 1998) are upheld. You must have a good level of knowledge and experience of safeguarding adults, and to undertake safeguarding enquiries and interventions and have good knowledge of Direct Payments.

As the Senior Support Worker your key duties include:
Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents
Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals
Contributing to care planning and coaching support workers
Take an active professional role in promoting the services offered when dealing with relatives, prospective residents and enquiries
Participate in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation
Be responsible for making and reporting realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care
Be responsible for administrating medication to the residents in accordance with policies and procedures

This team is responsible for dealing with the most vulnerable and in need of protection children aged 0 – infant in the borough. Working proactively, with a child-centred approach to each case is vital to ensure successful case progression. The team complete pre-birth assessments, complex child in need and PLO proceedings and child protection assessments. The team pride themselves on their ability to effectively and efficiently make decisions on cases at all stages of crisis intervention. They aim to work ‘with’ families and not ‘do things to’ families to ensure child centred and therapeutic working.
About you
A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in permanent contracts is essential in order to be considered for this position. We are looking for a Children's Social Worker to join a Children in Need Team within West Midlands.
This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post permanent qualified experience.
About the team
This team works collaboratively the children and their families to better understand type of support that they require to live safely and happily. The team ensure plans are made for the children and the families and reviews have taken place every 12 weeks. Social workers are required to visit the homes every 6 weeks, this is essential in order to be able to make the best decisions for the children’s need. The team will also attend IPCP meetings.
About you
A degree within Social Work (Degree, DipSW, CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years' permanent experience is required for this post. The ability to complete court work and protect the children is essential in this role. Extensive assessment work, long term work and CP experience is part of the role. A valid and clean driving license and car is essential.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience.
About the team
This is a fast paced team who work to ensure mental health patients are safely discharged from hospital and have as much support as necessary. Carrying out bedside assessments, arranging appropriate care packages for comprehensive discharges and advocating for service users and their independence is at the forefront of the team’s motivation. Being able to ensure service users have access to necessary resources and external support at the earliest stages is key to the success of this role.
About you
The successful candidate will have worked in a mental health teams and ideally hospital settings. A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of two years’ experience working in an Adult's Social Work environment is essential. A valid UK driving licence and car is essential for this position.
