My client is now seeking a Project Manager with Employer's Agent experience to join them in Essex to work on a good variety of projects across a number of projects.
Projects include schools, colleges, residential both for private and public sector clients including estate regeneration schemes, master plans, offices, industrial, infrastructure and more.
Projects are generally valued up to £100m.
You will be responsible for the entire project from feasibility stage through to completion of project.
Some travel will be required as their client base includes the East of England though to East Midlands and Greater London.

THE CANDIDATE
You will be a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager currently working for another firm of construction consultants.
You will be happy to work as part of a team reporting to an Associate Director or Partner. In addition you should be able to work without supervision.
My client would prefer someone to be MRICS / MAPM qualified or working towards such qualification.
You will need to be a current CSCS card holder.
Ideally you may also be a member of the Association of Project Safety or keen to work towards it.
The ideal candidate will have experience of Design and Build contracts including procurement and contract administration.
Some experience gained on large residential projects would be preferred.
Some experience of managing more junior project managers preferred.
Good client facing skills essential.
Good all round experience of projects in the building construction industry essential.
A full U.K. driving licence is required.

You will review the development proposals to ascertain the project viability mainly from a construction point of view providing essential advice on cost procurement, programme and security documentation.
You will work on behalf of the funder / deverloper / investor and work throughout the project lifecycle performing a monitoring role tracking and reviewing risks and project performance, often with a primary liability to certify drawdowns, whilst protecting the funds secured status.
You will be able to monitor the project to ensure it is going to plan, timescale and to budget and be able to identify risks for all parties and consider their mitigation.

Upon completion of the Bachelor’s degree and the structured workplace learning you will undertake the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence leading to registration with the RICS as a Chartered Surveyor

Following the recent acquisition of shares by a major investor in the renewable energy sector, they have secured a strong pipeline of new projects in Italy set for completion in the coming years.
What will you be doing:
-Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.
-Collaborate with design teams to ensure accurate project specifications and requirements.
-Ensure that all construction activities adhere to regulatory requirements.
-Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and quality.
-Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards of workmanship.
-Monitor project budgets and expenses, adjusting as needed.
-Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising project quality.
-Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Are you the ideal candidate?
-BS in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical) preferred;
-Minimum 5+ years experience in the construction of Solar PV plants;
-Experience in construction project management is a must.;
-Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients and other departments;
-It is essential that the Project Manager possess strong communication skills, including the ability to give persuasive presentations.
