Join a long-standing and highly established BMS and controls company, recognised as one of the biggest control companies in Ireland, with a sister company based in Manchester. You'll work alongside experienced Project Managers and CAD Engineers, giving you plenty of technical support while working on projects involving BMS, control panels, boilers, pumps, air conditioning and energy management systems. After 12 months, you'll also become eligible to participate in the company's Employee Ownership Trust (EOT), giving you the opportunity to benefit from the company's annual profits.
The role of the project engineer will include:
Managing approximately 12-13 projects at different stages
Liaising with clients and gathering project information
Managing project communications via email, Teams and telephone
Attending site meetings and customer meetings
Working closely with CAD Engineers throughout the project lifecycle
Reviewing and approving CAD designs before they are sent for manufacture
Coordinating control panel design, manufacture and installation
Supporting projects involving BMS, boilers, pumps, air conditioning and energy management
Ensuring projects are delivered on time and to customer requirements
The successful project engineer will have:
Previous experience in a Project Engineer, Project Manager or similar project-based role
Experience working on mechanical or electrical projects
Background in building services, construction, M&E or engineering
Alternatively, BMS experience with strong project management skills
Mechanical, electrical or multi-skilled engineering background
Comfortable communicating with clients and managing multiple projects
Able to work closely with CAD/design engineers
Electrical or Building Services qualifications advantageous but not essential
