As the Registered Home Manager your key responsibilities include:

Care Home Management role with at least 3 years’ experience as a Registered Home Manager with CQC
Experience and knowledge of working in dementia care
Have a proven track record in management and delivery of high-quality care within a residential setting and financial management planning
Proven experience of managing a care team, encouraging, leading and motivating others
Strong understanding of safeguarding, compliance and care inspectorate

An established Essex-based hospice is seeking a proactive and strategic Individual Giving Manager to lead on key income streams including lottery, raffles, and regular giving. As the organisation embarks on an exciting 5-year strategy, you’ll play a key role in delivering sustainable income and developing long-term donor relationships.
This is a high-impact role within a supportive and ambitious team, where you'll lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of individual giving campaigns across multiple channels. You'll also drive innovation in product development and supporter engagement, using insight and data to maximise income and retention.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver the organisation’s strategy for lottery, raffles, and regular giving
Design and optimise supporter journeys that increase loyalty and lifetime value

Day-Day Responsibilities:
Caring for children from 6 months to 5 years old: Ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of children, including supporting their daily needs and development.
Organisational, record keeping, and planning skills: Assisting in maintaining accurate records of children's progress, tracking their learning journey, and helping plan daily activities that align with developmental goals.
Communication skills: Building strong relationships with children, colleagues, parents, and carers. Effectively communicating children's progress, concerns, and needs.
Willingness to learn and meet EYFS requirements: Demonstrating a commitment to understanding and implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to provide high-quality education and care.
Child welfare & safeguarding: Promoting a safe environment by ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of children are prioritized, following policies and procedures to protect their well-being.
Understanding early years education: Being enthusiastic about early childhood development and engaging children in learning experiences that support their growth in all areas, going beyond the basics of the EYFS.
Adherence to operational policies and procedures: Following the setting's guidelines, routines, and health and safety protocols to ensure consistency and safety in the care and education provided.

Participate in onsite audits as an assistant to the audit senior and undertake relevant tasks as required by the audit senior.
Prepare draft corporation tax computations
Action queries raised by the accounts and tax managers on the draft accounts and tax computations
Clear review points and actioning queries raised by colleagues.
Act as a point of contact for clients for ad hoc queries
Attend clients’ premises across the North-East and Yorkshire, depending on office location
Training:Advanced Diploma - AAT Level 3 Advanced builds on the knowledge gained in the Foundation level. If you work in accounts or have studied accountancy before, you may be able to start at this level. You’ll learn complex accounting techniques and master a number of accounting disciplines, including financial processes, advanced bookkeeping, final accounts and ethical practices for accountants. This level will encourage you to master more complex accounting principles in both bookkeeping and management Accounting. You’ll develop the technical skills to start, or progress, your career in accountancy and this will allow you to continue with your studies onto Level 4. To pass this level, you’ll need to study five units (also known as subjects), which are all mandatory. Four of the units are examined individually and there is also a synoptic assessment that you’ll take towards the end of the level, which incorporates the final two units as well as drawing on all of the other units you’ve studied at this level.
