Liaising with the Technical Quality Department to detail & record findings, as well as advising on repair requirements
The successful Rotating Equipment Engineer will have:
IDEAL NOT ESSENTIAL: Formal qualifications within Engineering (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC, HND, BTEC or similar)
Stable work history & experience working within a heavy engineering or manufacturing environment
Strong & stable experience building, assembling, servicing, maintaining or repairing industrial machinery (motors, generators, pumps, gearboxes, valves, compressors, turbines etc.)
Working Hours of the Rotating Equipment Engineer: 40 Hours per week, spread across a regular day shift pattern:
Monday to Thursday – 07:00 to 16:00
Friday – 07:00 to 13:00
In return, the Rotating Equipment Engineer will receive:
Annual Salary: £43,700.80 (£21.01 per hour)
Annual Bonus: Up to £1,800.00
Frequent Overtime Available: Paid at time and a half
Holiday Allowance: 34 Days per annum including public holidays
9% Combined pension contribution (4% employer / 5% employee)

Using mathematical formula and the application of angle and mode factors to establish the weight and centre of gravity of the load and correct slinging methods
Positioning of moving & lifting equipment and loads using portable lifting equipment and / or cranes
Moving loads ranging in weight from a few kilograms to large submarine sections weighing hundreds of tonnes in large manufacturing facilities or within the closed restricted space of the submarine
During your apprenticeship, all the duties will be under the supervision of experienced slingers and crane operators. You will gain experience working safely in accordance with operational requirements and associated Safe Systems of Work. You will initially carry out sheet metal fabrication and CAD training at T2000 plus sheet metal fabrication and CAM training in company. Will be involved in the manufacture of sheet metal ventilation ductwork.
Once initial training is complete the focus will move on to the CAM - (inputting ductwork components on our Computer Aided Manufacture system for our CNC machine processes.
This will follow the Engineering Technician route leading to a Level 3 qualification.
This will be a role split between workshop and office, and you will be required to:
Work as part of a sheet metal ventilation ductwork fabrication team

The Process Engineer will manage and commercialize new processes developed by the Research and Development department into full scale production within the Tremco Corsicana plant. The Process Engineer will determine which equipment in the plant is most suited to make new products and what modifications may be necessary for such production to successfully occur. Over the next two years, the Tremco Corsicana facility will design, construct, and commission a new reactor. This new major plant expansion will introduce new production capabilities to the Corsicana facility and is expected to serve as a model project for further plant modernization efforts. The employee filling this role will lead this expansion project all the way through the commissioning and scaleup phases. In addition to supporting new products and plant expansions, this individual will also manage and optimize existing processes throughout the plant with the goals of maximizing yield and minimizing batch cycle times. SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES: Safety The Process Engineer will actively participate in process safety reviews, and process hazards analysis as the technical representative. Must understand the hazards of the raw materials, processes, and products in order to develop a safe manufacturing process.
