What You’ll Deliver
Working with a fully qualified and experienced Electrician to:
Ensure the effective delivery of service in line with Axis CLC Health and Safety policies and procedures
Ensure and undertake any recording of work and administration required by Axis CLC standards and timescales
Report any Health and Safety issues and outstanding defects to the Electrical Supervisor, Contracts Manager, Electrical Qualifying
Manager, Health and Safety team and Apprentice Master
Work as an integral team member with other apprentices, Axis CLC operatives, clients, customers and tenants
Attend Axis CLC Induction, Health and Safety training, Toolbox talks and College Induction
Undertake electrical work to a safe, clean and healthy standard
Learn how to cost electrical work with your Axis CLC Mentor, identifying cost reduction methods
Ensure college course attendance is 100% and college absence communicated to your Line Manager and Apprentice Master every time you fail to attend college
Ensure that you meet your operative on time on a daily basis
Communicate any absence from work as per your contractual terms and conditions
Communicate college requirements for completion of NVQ Level 3 portfolio work with AxisCLC Mentor, Apprentice Master and Contracts Manager
Ensure electrical work is delivered in a professional manner, in line with Axis CLC Core Values and Equality standards
Always wear your PPE whilst working and follow Health & Safety instructions
Pass all college exams and projects in each year of college otherwise your apprenticeship will be terminated
Put together and maintain a tool kit so at the end of your apprenticeship, you have all essential tools for your trade

Ensure that finished product stock levels within the department areas are of sufficient quantity and quality.
Ensure that produce are of a consistently high standard.
Ensure that they are always in clean tidy uniforms and long hair is tied up.
Ensure that all packing equipment is being used safely and correctly and that it is cleaned and maintained.

Operate all machinery safely and follow the training advice given.
Turn off any equipment when not in use.
Ensuring all printed material is of the correct quality.
Reporting contaminants of finished products to general manager to be logged and assessed for recall purposes.
Ensure all items are safely packed for transit and marked as fragile.
Book courier collections, produce shipping labels ensuring accuracy.
Liaise with couriers during loading.
Pallet packing and wrapping where required
Ensure that weekly work schedules and annual leave planners are administered and filed correctly.
Identify strengths, weaknesses and training needs and provide timely feedback to the business owner & General Manager.
Reporting any health and safety concerns urgently to a responsible person.
