Process supplier invoices, including purchase orders, non-purchase orders, dry goods and consignment invoices.
Check invoices for accuracy and send for approval.
Set up new supplier accounts and update supplier records.
Support supplier payment runs and allocate payments.
Monitor finance inboxes and respond to supplier queries. Investigate invoice and payment queries, escalating where required.
Maintain accurate electronic and paper filing systems.
Liaise with colleagues to obtain invoice approvals.
Update purchase ledger logs and departmental records.
Assist with employee expenses and company credit card reconciliations.
Support banking and account reconciliation activities.
Assist with month-end finance tasks and reporting.
Learn and follow financial controls, policies and procedures.
Complete apprenticeship training and apply learning in the workplace.

Main Duties:
Contribute to the delivery of care and clinical activity in accordance with agreed plan of care and appropriate policies, procedures and protocols of ward / department
Report any alteration in patients’ / client’s condition including the initiation of emergency action to the qualified clinical nurse
To be aware of spiritual, cultural and religious needs of patients and to ensure care provided is particularly sensitive to those needs
Collect specimens of urine, faeces, or sputum as directed by qualified clinical nurse, ensuring its safe storage / transport or disposal as appropriate
Training:
To undertake the Senior Healthcare Support Worker Level 3 qualification whilst on programme. There will be "off the job learning each week" and the programme will take approximately 24 months to complete
All training will be provided in-house at the Trust
Training Outcome:After successful completion of this apprenticeship, you will continue to work as a healthcare assistant.
