ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

The primary result expected from the Engineer, Manufacturing is to control internal processes to manufacture paint and paint products by defining and analyzing the manufacturing process of both milling and filling operations for improvement in quality, safety, and efficiency, and creating, improving, and maintaining manufacturing Process Instructions (PI) and salvage/rework integration.
Tasks PROFILE:
Typical tasks for this position include (but are not limited to) the following:
Develop safety procedures to be employed by workers operating equipment or working in close proximity to on-going chemical reactions.
Troubleshoot problems with chemical manufacturing processes.
Evaluate chemical equipment and processes to identify ways to optimize performance or to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Conduct research to develop new and improved chemical manufacturing processes.
Determine most effective arrangement of operations such as mixing, crushing, heat transfer, distillation, and drying.
Perform tests and monitor performance of processes throughout stages of production to determine degree of control over variables such as temperature, density, specific gravity, and pressure.
Design and plan layout of equipment.
Prepare estimate of production costs and production progress reports for management.
Design measurement and control systems for chemical plants based on data collected in laboratory experiments and in pilot plant operations.
Develop processes to separate components of liquids or gases or generate electrical currents using controlled chemical processes.

Perform testing of production batches, incoming raw materials, finished goods, and components to determine conformance to specifications.
Judge as "fit for release" production batches, incoming raw materials, finished goods, and components that are in conformance to all specifications and visually acceptable.
Determine and communicate batch adjustments for any batches that do not conform to requirements, utilizing batch history, adjustment guidelines, and consultation with the QC Manager.
Perform validation testing during filling to insure integrity of finished goods, including labeling, packaging, and fill weights.
Communicate current status of inspections to QC Manager.
Communicate issues with work instructions and procedures to QC Manager.

They are currently seeking ambitious and experienced Conveyancing Lawyers (minimum 3 years PQE or equivalent experience in a reputable firm) to join their Private Property team. Their roles are full-time office based. For the right candidate, there are genuine opportunities for career advancement.
About the Role:
You will manage your own caseload of residential property matters, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Remortgages
- New build transactions
- Transfers of equity
They are looking for someone who enjoys working in a busy, deadline-driven environment and is confident communicating with clients, agents, referrers, and other professionals to deliver a high-quality service. You will also be encouraged to get involved in business development and client relationship-building activities.
Experience:
- Solid technical knowledge of residential conveyancing processes
- Ability to work independently and handle pressure effectively
- Excellent organisational and written communication skills
- Confidence using IT systems, including case management software and Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail and strong file management abilities
- Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of the Solicitors Code of Conduct in respect of referrals and of the Money Laundering Regulations.
- Experience of Landlord and Tenant matters and leasehold extension is preferred but not essential

Owning the month-end close for your allocated entities, including close timetable management, accurate cut-off, and maintaining a clear audit trail
Preparing and posting month-end journals across your portfolio (accruals, prepayments, deferred income, payroll, fixed assets, FX revaluations, provisions and other UK GAAP adjustments)
Producing monthly UK GAAP management accounts (P&L and balance sheet) with clear commentary and variance analysis vs budget, forecast and prior year, providing insight and analysis to support management decision-making
Providing ad-hoc financial analysis and advice to the management team and stakeholders
Ensuring accurate revenue recognition in line with client contracts and applicable reporting standards, including appropriate accounting for accrued and deferred income and associated costs
Partnering with operational and project stakeholders to validate performance, billing triggers and improve financial accuracy across entities
Maintaining strong balance sheet controls through timely reconciliations across key accounts
Supporting intercompany accounting across multiple jurisdictions, including management of intercompany agreements, recharges, journals, reconciliations and stakeholder query resolution
Assisting with treasury and cash management, including cashflow forecasting, working capital management
Supporting budgeting and reforecasting, delivering KPI reporting, commercial insight and decision support to senior management
Playing a key role in statutory reporting and the year-end audit process, including audit schedules, responding to auditor queries, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
Identifying, designing and delivering process improvements
THE PERSON:
ACCA, ACA or CIMA Qualified or a strong Finalist, with dual Management Accountant and core Financial Accountant experience
UK GAAP understanding (FRS 102 exposure beneficial) and confident preparing/posting month-end journals through close
Strong balance sheet control capability with a disciplined approach to reconciliations and audit readiness
Commercially minded with excellent analytical skills
Confident communicator, able to work with cross-functionally stakeholder relationships
Process improvement mindset; experience with systems projects/automation is desirable
Experience of Sage would be an advantage

THE PERSON:
Current experience in an Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant role, with experience of either Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger or Accounts Receivable/Sales Ledger or both AP/AR.
Either studying towards, planning to study, or having completed AAT, with a desire to progress onto ACCA or CIMA
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and control
Comfortable using Excel and keen to continue developing systems and reporting skills
Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Proactive, eager to learn and motivated to grow within a developing finance function

This team work with individuals who experience mental illness, brain injuries and personality disorders who are high risk to either themselves or others. The units work with each patient individually to ensure their care and overall development is the best it can be. Having a therapeutic way of working is key in this service to be able to support each patient gain as much independence as possible.
About you
A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 2 years experience is essential in order to be considered for this role. Experience in a mental health setting (ideally in an inpatient environment) offers a greater chance of success of this role. A valid UK driving licence is preferred not essential - due to the requirement of majority office working.
