Engineering Apprentice - Thermoforming Setter Apprentice
As a Thermoforming Setter Apprentice, you will be trained to become highly skilled in thermoforming, including the setup of new projects and ensuring the delivery of high‑quality production batches. You will also be involved in maintaining, repairing, and improving a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipment. You will ensure machinery and production equipment operate safely, efficiently, and to precise performance standards. Your training will involve carrying out planned maintenance, responding to equipment faults, and supporting continuous improvement activities across the site. To undertake formal training in accordance with the training provider’s curriculum, timescales and course requirements Ensuring attendance at all person learning events and completing all required course work/assessments in a timely and professional manner The post holder is required to comply with all company training agreement requirements Following the appropriate training, to carry out routine water safety and temperature checks under the direction and supervision of the Technical Manager (or senior venue management) and report any under-performance of equipment immediately Under the direction of the Technical Manager support reactive housekeeping duties, such as regular inspections, basic testing, minor repairs, replacements and decoration, following on the job training and in accordance with instruction, always working with minimal disruption to customers On the job training will enable routine, non-invasive maintenance tasks to be undertaken, achieving competency in routine DIY level tasks.
