About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable PSV Technician to join our team based in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled individual to work a consistent 4-day week, with the benefit of long weekends and excellent earning potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a fleet of PSV (Public Service Vehicles)
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults
- Ensuring all work is completed to high safety and quality standards
- Keeping accurate maintenance records and reports
Shift Details:
- 4 x 10-hour shifts per week
- Sunday to Wednesday
- Working hours: 13:00 00:00
What Were Looking For:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or similar)
- Proven experience working with PSVs or HGVs
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to health and safety standards

Encourage people to live healthy lives and support them to manage health problems. To ensure people’s health action plans are up to date and accessible to all concerned with keeping people healthy and well
Help people to stay safe by assisting them to learn what is safe and what isn’t and to manage situations that may put them at risk
To work positively with other people, including family and friends, as well as other staff, services and professionals such as GP’s, community nurses, psychologists and care managers
To ensure people are supported to run their own homes according to their tenancy agreements
To adhere to Health & Safety regulations at all times and report potential hazards to the appropriate person in line with Health & Safety policy
