This is an opportunity to join a privately owned, rapidly growing main contractor delivering high-value, mission-critical projects across the UK and Europe. Your Role as Senior Health & Safety Manager will include: • Overseeing Health & Safety across multiple live projects nationwide (data centres, pharma, logistics) • Leading and supporting site-based H&S teams (Advisors / Managers) across your region • Driving a proactive safety culture across all levels – from operatives through to senior leadership • Ensuring compliance with all HSE legislation, company standards, and client expectations • Reviewing and approving RAMS, permits, and high-risk activity documentation The Successful Senior Health & Safety Manager will have:
• Proven experience in a Senior / Regional H&S role within construction or mission-critical environments • Ability to manage multiple projects and influence across several site teams simultaneously • Excellent communication and leadership skills - able to challenge and drive standards at all levels • NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 6 (or equivalent) • Strong understanding of RAMS, high-risk activities and auditing processes • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel / stay away as required

The Apprentice Port Health, Safety and Environment Technician will support all PSS health, safety and culture output including safety alerts and bulletins, industry safety statistics, campaigns and briefings, and updating industry guidance.
The role includes visiting ports throughout the UK to support safety meetings and inspections. In the second year, there is an opportunity for a placement on site a member port.
After initial training and guidance, the key tasks include:
Creating safety alerts and bulletins.
Creating and posting content on the PSS website and social media relating to health, safety and culture.
Manage data submissions from members – acknowledging receipt, checking data and filing accordingly. In the second year, this will include basic data analysis.
Assisting in planning and running national Port Safety Group meetings, including attendance at those held in-person at UK port locations.
Liaising with members on health, safety and culture issues.
Assist with the management of the membership database.
Participate in member visits (nationally) alongside other PSS employees.
Provide administrative support to the Health, Safety and Culture Lead.
Ongoing commitment to requirements of apprenticeship.

Audit the Integrated Management System (IMS).
Collate process and report all factory HSE data.
Manage skills matrix and course bookings.

Provide accurate, timely and technical advice to colleagues in resolving issues in H&S and reducing environmental impact.

Tremco is currently looking for a Field Services Safety Engineer.
General Purpose:
The Field Safety Engineer will be responsible for providing support and safety oversight to regional Roofing and Weatherproofing Technologies field employees (including but not limited to Sales, Roofing Advisors, CSS, Field Resource Representatives, and leadership), ensuring site compliance with corporate and client safety standards, as well as ensuring site safety policies and procedures are aligned with governmental regulations. This position will provide supervision and coordination of the day-to-day safety requirements of jobsites.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide support to projects by maintaining a visible presence and conducting site visits to perform safety audits and safety process audits (e.g., safety document evaluation/compliance) *this should take place at least 80% of the week* Enforce all Federal, State, local, owner and Tremco regulations throughout all Roofing regional projects. Assist site leadership to develop site-specific safety programs aligned with Tremco Field Services Safety policies and instruct supervisors on safety procedures, planning and equipment. Assist Regional Field Safety Managers with rolling out new safety initiatives and briefing employees as needed on new policies, or changes in existing policies, to keep current (e.g., Daily Task Planning, 100% audit compliance, safety training programs) Educate the workforce and regional leadership on understanding Tremco's safety cultural advancements, such as safety leadership and safety management systems. Assist in the coaching, mentoring and implementation of Tremco Health and Safety programs in the field, to ensure that all safety expectations are understood and met. Participate with and/or conduct Toolbox Talk Meetings with Regional team employees. Regularly review and be familiar with all applicable legislation and applicable standards, to ensure compliance. Effectively represent our Tremco safety culture with our subcontractors and help Tremco site leadership to ensure complete compliance of our subcontractors to applicable rules and regulations (Federal, State, local, owner, Tremco and their own). Motivating, organizing, and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure safety practices and policies are being adhered to effectively. As a direct report to, regularly communicate safety audit results and/or field safety concerns (e.g., Stop Work Authority) with Assistant Safety Director and prepare observation reports as needed. Regularly audit the Site-Specific Safety and Health Plans for compliance and update to ensure the alignment with project scope and conditions. Ensure that all incidents are reported immediately per the Tremco Incident Notification Policy. Participate and assist all field leadership in the investigation of incidents to determine root cause, and corrective actions where necessary. Ensure incident corrective actions are followed up on and completed. Monitor and follow up on modified workers in the field. Must adhere to all company policies and procedures. Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (Occupational Health & Safety preferred) or 5+ Years of Construction experience with high school diploma. Minimum of two years of construction safety field experience required. OSHA 10- and 30-hour certification required. Knowledge of the 1926 OSHA Regulations. Working Knowledge on how to develop, implement, and audit a Daily Task Analysis for Employees and Subcontractors. Proficient written and oral communication skills. Proficient Computer Skills- Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Willingness to travel/work remotely 80% or greater. You will be home every weekend.

The role will be covering the South East Region and will be based at one of the following depots: IP22 2SP, SG19 2DQ, or MK9 1LZ. Candidates must be able to drive and have access to a car (or be working towards it).
The role holder will support the provision of SHEQ advice to the operating sites while developing their knowledge, skills and experience through a structured Level 3 Safety, Health & Environment Technician Apprenticeship. This will be achieved by assisting in the development and embedding of all aspects of the SHEQ programme. The role holder will support the implementation of Company policy and procedures across the business, as directed by their line manager, and will provide timely support, guidance and monitoring to operating sites on matters relating to SHEQ.
To support the development and delivery of an effective SHEQ risk management programme, as directed by the appointed line manager, that enables the Region to comply with Core and Client standards, statutory requirements and industry best practice throughout its operations and services.
Key responsibilities:
Support the provision of practical SHEQ advice and guidance to site teams, supervisors and managers
Promote a strong, positive safety culture
Assist in the implementation of the company’s Health & Safety Management System
Support operating sites in preparing for proposed changes to policies and procedures
Carry out site inspections, audits and tours with support, producing reports and tracking actions to close out
Assist in the development and review of risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), ITPs and task briefings
Support accident, incident and near miss investigations, learning how to identify root causes and corrective actions
Assist with the implementation of compliance assurance activities, identifying risks and supporting remedial actions
Support monitoring processes and contribute to internal reporting of Regional SHEQ performance
Assist in delivering toolbox talks, briefings and safety stand-downs
Support the management of waste, pollution prevention, ecology, noise, dust and water controls
Promote environmental best practice and sustainability initiatives on site
Assist with environmental incident investigations and reporting
Contribute to the drafting and implementation of SHEQ standards and associated documentation including forms and checklists
Promote right-first-time culture and continuous improvement
Assist with preparation for internal and external audits, including client and certification audits
Support monitoring of subcontractor compliance with SHEQ requirements
Assist in identifying SHEQ training and competency requirements and support delivery where appropriate
Work with the HR team and Occupational Health providers to support SHEQ-related health matters, gaining an understanding of appropriate processes and interventions
Assist in producing SHEQ performance reports and dashboards
Support behavioural safety programmes and engagement activities
Provide support in bid preparation and attend client meetings and briefings where appropriate as part of development
Previous knowledge or experience in construction (or a similar industry) would be beneficial but is not essential.

Duties
General Duties:
Learn and assist with routine maintenance including:
Painting
Basic carpentry
Basic plumbing repairs
General building upkeep
Support grounds maintenance activities such as grass cutting, hedge trimming and gardening tasks
Help maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a safe, tidy and compliant working environment
Assist in moving equipment, furniture and materials safely using correct manual handling around site
Support cleaning, waste management and recycling duties
Work alongside experienced team members to develop practical maintenance and facilities skills
Attend college and complete all apprenticeship training and assessments as required

Working Conditions
This role is a physically demanding job; the employee is expected to competently handle all types of materials, tools and equipment, within safe handling guidelines.

As well as internal work, the employee will be expected to work outside in various weather conditions, including hot and cold weather and rain
The employee may be exposed to unpleasant sights and smells. They may at times be in proximity to dangerous and/or toxic substances and must take necessary precautions to protect their eyes, nose and skin from irritation and infection
