An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Construction Planner to join a leading contractor delivering major construction projects across the UK. This role is specifically suited to a planner who understands how projects are actually built - not just sequenced.
This position is ideal for planners who can take a federated BIM model, understand interfaces and installation logic, and translate that into a fully coordinated, buildable construction programme. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, technically demanding environment where planning is central to delivery, not a back-office function.
The business places strong emphasis on site engagement, technical understanding, and real programme ownership, offering clear progression into Senior Planner and Planning Manager roles for strong performers.
The Role as a Senior Construction Planner Will Include:
Developing and managing construction programmes directly informed by federated BIM models
Working closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to align programme logic with real installation methodology
Coordinating complex MEP/CSA sequences and interfaces, ensuring programme certainty on a mission-critical project
Identifying programme risks, constraints, and clashes early, and driving practical mitigation strategies
Tracking progress on site, producing accurate reports, and supporting delivery teams to maintain programme integrity
As a Senior Construction Planner, You Will Need:
Experience as a Planner, Senior Planner, or Planning Engineer within construction
Strong background in planning
The ability to build a programme from a BIM model, not just update schedules in P6 or Asta
Experience on large-scale, technically complex projects (£50m+), ideally data centres, industrial, or high-tech facilities
Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Asta Powerproject, supported by real construction understanding
Confident communication skills and a delivery-focused mindset

The Field Engineering team supports projects with diverse scopes of work. As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for organizing, researching, and documenting cross-departmental assignments that contribute to the growth and operational excellence of Pure Air Control Services, a division of Weatherproofing Technologies, Inc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering field (preferred)
Ability to obtain Engineer Intern certification (preferred)

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Technical Specialist (Sr) maintains core product line building code compliance, ensures new products and systems are code compliant, participates in internal product and system development teams, answers project specific questions, reviews project drawings to make recommendations, works with third party testing facilities and is heavily involved in industry organizations that help shape industry standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate 3rd party testing certification/approvals.
Recommend project or product specific testing, interpret results, and make recommendations based on finding.
High level of understanding of testing methods/techniques for Laboratory/Field Testing.
Present a comprehensive understanding of testing methods to confirm varying compatibility among materials.
Develop and review of product literature, application instruction, and the maintenance and updating of field training manuals.
Comprehensive understanding of applicable Building Code requirements related to EIFS and other types of façade systems.
Write, review, and make recommendations for letters of installation and job parameters along with detailed drawings to help make the sale.
Formally respond to inquiries in written form based on sound engineering judgement.
Provide technical training to internal and external customers focused on façade systems, code requirements, test methods, and application of relevant Tremco systems.
Effectively collaborate with internal and designated external customers.
Assure product performance through reviewing and making recommendations for proper use and field application.
Master assigned core product line technology to include writing policy.
Actively able to train/mentor new employees.
Demonstrate a high level of critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in science, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar field required; High School Diploma or GED and 15+ years related experience required, in lieu of college degree.
EXPERIENCE:
7+ years of Civil Engineering, Architectural, Building Envelope, Building Science, Construction Consulting, Construction industry or similar experience.
Strong consideration will be given to candidates with experience in the field (job-site-related experience).
Expertise with Canadian codes related to EIFS, system fire performance, air/water resistive barrier systems.
Strong background in understanding building science principles and performing related wall assembly analyses for a diversity of wall systems.
