Shift Supervisor – City of London – FM Service Provider – £55,000 per annum

CBW is currently recruiting for an experienced Shift Supervisor to join an established FM service provider on a prestigious and high-profile contract in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Shift Leader or Engineering Supervisor looking for a days-only shift position, offering an excellent salary, strong benefits package and genuine opportunities for future career progression. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of skilled engineers, overseeing the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance and ensuring the site operates safely, efficiently and in line with contractual KPIs and SLAs. This is a client-facing position, so we are looking for someone technically strong who is also professional, confident and comfortable building relationships with the client, contractors and wider contract team.

Supervise and manage a team of multi-skilled engineers across the contractOversee all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenanceEnsure engineering tasks are completed within agreed KPIs and SLAsAllocate and coordinate works across the engineering teamProvide technical support and guidance to engineersOversee specialist subcontractors, ensuring their work is completed safely and to a high standardEnsure site logbooks, reports and maintenance documentation remain accurate and up to dateMaintain high standards of health and safety across all engineering activitiesEnsure statutory and contractual compliance requirements are metMonitor electrical infrastructure, HVAC and general building servicesAssist with fault-finding and technical issues across the siteDevelop strong working relationships with the client and wider contract teamAttend client and operational meetings when requiredSupport contract performance and commercial requirementsEnsure safe systems of work, permits and relevant procedures are followed at all timesRequirements
Electrical or Mechanical qualification – NVQ / City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 or equivalentPrevious experiencewithin commercial building services / facilities managementWill be required to obtain a CTC Security Check (Criminal background check)Previous experience as a Shift Leader, Lead Engineer, Engineering Supervisor or similarStrong technical knowledge across electrical infrastructure, HVAC and general building servicesExperience supervising and managing engineering teamsGood understanding of PPM and reactive maintenanceStrong knowledge of health and safety requirementsConfident, professional and client-facingGood communication and organisational skillsAble to manage workloads effectively and use own initiativeCommercially aware with an understanding of contract KPIs and SLAsIf you are interested, please apply below or send your CV to Katie at cbwstaffingsolutions.
