Maintenance Electrician

Site based Maintenance Electrician - Wetherby - Global Facilities Management Organisation

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician to join a facilities management team at a site in Wetherby.

This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically qualified engineer looking to develop their career, with a clear progression route into a High Voltage (HV) Electrician position. Full training and relevant HV qualifications will be fully funded by the employer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site, ensuring all electrical systems and equipment are maintained to a high standard.

Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systemsDiagnose and repair electrical faults across the siteEnsure all electrical maintenance is completed in line with health and safety regulationsAssist with general building services maintenance where requiredComplete maintenance records and ensure all work is accurately documentedSupport the wider engineering team in maintaining the site's electrical infrastructureUndertake full HV training and qualifications, progressing towards an HV Electrician position
Requirements
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation or Electrical MaintenancePrevious experience in electrical maintenance, ideally within facilities management or a commercial environmentGood fault-finding and diagnostic skillsKnowledge of planned and reactive maintenanceA proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamA genuine interest in developing a career within high voltage engineering
