Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – 4 on 4 off Days – Commercial Office – Moorgate, London – Up to £50,000 per annum – No Call Out
CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading FM service provider on a prestigious commercial office building in Moorgate, London. The successful candidate will be mechanically qualified (C&G / NVQ or equivalent) with a proven background in commercial building maintenance. Working as part of a multi-skilled engineering team, you will carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance, while also supporting with basic electrical and general building services maintenance where required.
Hours of Work4 on 4 off Days7:00am – 7:00pmPackageSalary up to £50,000 per annumNo call out20 shifts annual leavePrivate healthcareUniform and tools providedCycle to Work schemeOvertime availableAnnual salary reviewOngoing training and career progressionKey Duties & ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical building services equipmentMaintenance of HVAC plant including AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors and associated equipmentServicing and maintenance of heating, chilled water and domestic water systemsFault finding and repairs on mechanical plantBasic plumbing repairs including valves, pipework, taps and sanitary wareCarry out basic electrical maintenance including emergency lighting checks, lamp replacements and simple fault findingMonitor BMS systems and respond to plant alarms where appropriateEscort and supervise specialist subcontractorsEnsure all works are completed in line with KPI and SLA requirementsComplete all maintenance documentation accurately and on timeIdentify and report faults with building services equipment and take appropriate actionEnsure compliance with all Health & Safety proceduresBuild and maintain strong working relationships with the client and site management teamRemain flexible and assist with additional maintenance duties within your level of competenceRequirementsMechanical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)Experience working within commercial building maintenanceStrong knowledge of mechanical building services including HVAC systemsExperience with AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors and plumbing systemsBasic electrical knowledge would be advantageousExperience working in a critical environment is desirableAbility to provide copies of trade qualificationsProven track record in commercial maintenanceMulti-skilled approach to maintenanceExcellent communication and customer service skillsA proactive and professional attitudeIf you are interested in this opportunity, please contact Alex Denton at CBW Staffing Solutions today to avoid missing out on this excellent position
