Training:The course will typically be completed over a 24-month period, which will include weekly knowledge delivery through face-to-face sessions at our Stevenage construction campus.
The learners will also be observed in the workplace to identify the standards of competence are being met. There will also be recorded professional discussions covering competence towards the standard.
The tutor will complete a progress review in the first 6 weeks and every 10-12 weeks thereafter, which will require the Employer’s presence. All work will be stored on an electronic portfolio ready to be submitted to the external Assessment Organisation.
At the end of the 24th month, the learner will have a final assessment with an external Assessment Organisation (AO). Learning and assessment
An EPA is an assessment at the end of your apprenticeship. It will assess you against the knowledge, skills, and behaviours (KSBs) in the occupational standard. Your training will cover the KSBs. The EPA is your opportunity to show an independent assessor how well you can carry out the occupation you have been trained for.
Your employer will choose an end-point assessment organisation (EPAO) to deliver the EPA. Your employer and training provider should tell you what to expect and how to prepare for your EPA. The length of the training for this apprenticeship is typically 54 months. The EPA period is typically 6 months.
Assessment methods
City of Portsmouth College will provide support for employer and apprentice to prepare for end-point assessment by our first-rate, fully trained assessors. Our simple, flexible service meets the demands of your team and your partners.
Practical assessment with questions: You will be observed for an independent assessor completing your work. It will last at least 17 hours.
Multiple-choice test: You will complete a multiple-choice test. It will be open book, meaning you can have access to some books or reference materials. The test will have 45 multiple-choice questions. You will have 90 minutes to complete it.

This is an excellent opportunity to begin your career in archaeological fieldwork. We are looking to appoint two Apprentices, working from our Edinburgh office, with at least 51% of your time spent on field projects in England with our colleagues from our offices in London, Milton Keynes and York.
This apprenticeship will provide you with an excellent opportunity to gain an understanding of fieldwork archaeology, and to gain key practical and creative skills in a commercial environment. It is vital that you are a good team member with a positive and enthusiastic approach to archaeology. You will also need to be self-motivated and able to study independently under your own initiative.
We encourage our team to grow, and you will be supported by a senior member of AOC who will assist in improving your skill set and further your career using our bespoke Job Aspiration Matrix. This includes access to a training budget to attend conferences and paid membership to CIfA. As 51% of the apprenticeship will be completed in England away work will be required. Accommodation and subsistence of £21 per night away will be provided during away work. The candidate will ideally have a full driving licence and be over 18 years old at the beginning of the apprenticeship.

Satellite Hazardous Waste Accumulation
Production tank/Cleaning/filling
1. Production Quality Lab Technicians may have to dispose of product samples, line flush, off-spec product, or expired product retain samples. This waste material is transferred to the hazardous waste satellite accumulation drum.
2. Production workers clean equipment and tanks pre-rinse, wipe, scrub, and final rinse surfaces using wash solvent, brushes and rags. Dirty solvent is transferred to the satellite accumulation area.
3. Transfer used wash solvent to the satellite accumulation drum or tank.
4. Ensure hazardous waste storage or accumulation containers remain sealed except during the addition or removal of waste.
5. Ensure Hazardous Waste storage containers are clearly labeled "Hazardous Waste."
6. Care must be exercised when introducing waste into the satellite accumulation drum. Do not drop on floor or area. In the case of any spilled material, spills or drops shall be cleaned up immediately.
7. When 55 gallons has accumulated, the satellite accumulation container must be moved to a permanent hazardous waste storage area within 3 days and relabeled "Hazardous Waste."

Our modern purpose built head office is based in the thriving town of West Bridgford steeped in sporting history and home to Trent Bridge cricket ground and Nottingham Forest Football club. The borough also includes the towns of Bingham and Cotgrave as well as numerous villages and surrounding rural areas. In addition to our offices based in West Bridgford we have two depots and manage Rushcliffe Country Park in Ruddington.
