I am working with a leading Housing Association who are looking for a Lead Fire and Security Engineer to cover the Devon locality. You will be provided with a van and fuel card for business use.Duties include:
Audit external contractors' Fire & Security (F&S) certifications and assess 10% of their on-site tasks.
Conduct safety and technical audits on F&S Engineers and contractors, including site validations, pre and post-inspections.
Utilize expertise to document and report on the status and condition of fire and security equipment encountered during periodic inspections and minor works/installations.
Tasks include testing, servicing, and installing Fire Systems, Emergency Lighting, AOV, and CCTV.
Identify faults and perform repairs/installations for Door Entry, Door Access, and Door Operators.
You will require:
Minimum 5 years of industry experience
F.I.A or equivalent certifications
Ideally, electrical qualification, though not essential
Desirable: Proven industry experience in fire systems, door entry, and access control

My client and established and expanding Fire Protection solutions provider are currently looking to recruit an experienced Field Service / Maintenance Engineer, specialising in Fire Suppression Systems.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for attending assigned visits to customer sites and premises nationwide to perform scheduled electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault diagnoses and repair of fire suppression detection systems. Ensuring system serviceability testing and all paperwork in completed and assigned after job completion.
The role will be responsible for covering clients Nationwide (however a large core of these are based in the Midlands and London locations). Candidates will be required to travel extensively (Nationally) and will require the ability to stay away from home as necessary.
Package Details
£40,000 to £45,000

Requirements
Previous experience in a similar role working on Fire Detection and Suppression Systems
Experience of Water Mist Fire Suppression and Detection systems, alongside a strong understanding and knowledge of the wider fire prevention sector
Good understanding of both Electrical and Mechanical disciplines
Full UK Driving License
Be educated to NVQ Level 3 and ideally hold 17th Edition Certification
Ability to communicate directly with customers and maintain good relationships
Proficient in the use of mobile technologies (Smart phones, Tablets)
Have passed or able to pass the CSCS Health & Safety Test (Holds a relevant CSCS or related scheme competency card preferable)
Able to work and stay away from home and, if necessary, to do so at short notice when needed.
