$20-33/hour

Position Duties & Responsibilities:
Installation of different types of roofing systems such as BUR, EPDM, Single-ply, coatings, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems
Masonry & Tuckpointing
Concrete Restorations, Caulking
Waterproofing
Parking Garage Restoration
Safe operation of tools of the trade (hand tools, power tools etc.)
Follow OSHA regulations and other regulatory agencies relating to job site safety, demonstrate safe work practices.
Effective communication with foremen, supervisors, and other WTI and Tremco employees
Job Requirements:
Reliable form of transportation
Acceptable background check per company standards
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
Work outside in a wide variety of weather conditions and to meet the physical demands of the position, including mobility needed to complete tasks.
Climbing and operating on ladders, able to handle at least 50 lbs.
Experience in general construction, commercial roofing, and/or building envelope a plus!
The hourly rate for applicants in this position generally ranges between $20 and $33. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.

THE ROLE
We are currently seeking an ASSOCIATE GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER to join our client, an award winning firm of consulting engineers in their London office in the Southwark area.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a fairly large firm who work on projects across a good range of sectors including infrastructure, specialist geotechnical design, education, health, commercial, residential, leisure, regeneration and masterplanning.
Projects are both in the UK and overseas.
You will be a Chartered Geotechnical Engineer who is highly motivated and able to head up a team plus be able to prepare bids for projects and also assist in the preparation of bids for very large commissions.
Experience of doing presentations too is preferred.
THE CLIENT
Our client is a successful, large firm of consulting engineers with a number of UK offices.
They work on projects both in the UK and overseas.
THE CANDIDATE
You will need to have good technical skills to provide leadership to your team.
You must be able to take responsibility for technical and commercial matters.
You will have excellent communication skills to be able to deal with other professionals and contractors as well as get involved in networking and strengthening client relationships.
You will be able to delegate workload, monitor deliverables, help train more junior engineers etc.
You will do site visits, surveys and inspections associated with all geotechnical works.
You need experience of slope engineering, ground movement assessments, infrastructure design and regeneration, ground remediation, earthworks and more.
Experience and good knowledge of health and safety risks essential.
You must be up to date with UK codes and construction methods.
Knowledge and experience of geotechnical design software to include Slope-W, Wallap, the Oasys suite of geotechnical software and Plaxis.
A full UK driving licence is required along with your own vehicle to enable you to attend meetings and get to sites, some of which may be fairly remote.
Salary is negotiable but likely to be between £80000 and £90000 per annum and there is an excellent package of company benefits.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Essential Functions:
Stage and prepare all raw materials associated with production batches.
Maintains orderliness and cleanliness in batch making and packaging areas, with active engagement in positive safety behavior.
Communicates (gives a heads up) low levels of raw material to supervisory staff.
Develops good working knowledge of all batch making and packaging processes.
Maintains good working relationship with Quality Control.
Must be capable of logical structuring of batch making process, particularly optimizing the switchover sequence/needs of production.
Reports all spills and leaks, equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, accidents, near miss accidents and material shortages to Production Supervisor.
Makes batches and operates packaging equipment efficiently. Capable of handling scanner & basic computer operations.
When there is downtime on his line, proceeds to line assigned to him by Production Supervisor for further training or operation.
Assist in hazardous waste handling when needed under the guidance from production management/supervisors or RCRA.
Preferred Requirements:
College Level chemistry course experience.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED in lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education may be considered.
Minimum 2-year prior related experience of 1 year experience as a production batch maker.
Physical Requirements:
Must pass standard eye examination (corrected or uncorrected) and must pass standard color-tone testing.
Must be capable of wearing Company standard respirators as qualified by fit test performed by an authorized agency.
Must be capable of lifting between 25-70 lbs.
This position requires consistent wearing of safety glasses, gloves, long pants, and closed-toe shoes; with additional specific PPE depending on the chemicals or materials handled, which could include respirators, hearing protection, or specialized gloves for hazardous substances.
