Job Description:
Core-Asset Consulting is working with a leading wealth management firm to recruit an Investment Governance Analyst on a 6-month fixed-term contract in Edinburgh.
This role sits within a proposition function and focuses on supporting the oversight and governance of Managed Portfolio Service (MPS) products. You will play a key role in ensuring products meet regulatory requirements and internal standards, with a particular emphasis on Consumer Duty.
Essential Skills/Experience:
Experience or knowledge of adviser platforms, MPS structures or product oversight
Understanding of financial services regulatory requirements, including Consumer Duty
Experience supporting governance processes and controls
Knowledge of Power BI is advantageous
Relevant investment qualification (e.g. IMC or IAQ) preferred
Core Responsibilities:
Support oversight of adviser platforms, including due diligence and ongoing monitoring
Ensure platforms meet contractual and regulatory obligations
Assist in governance across MPS products, working with investment, dealing and business development teams
Contribute to regular reviews with external providers to enhance service delivery and reporting
Support Consumer Duty requirements, including value assessments, governance reporting and target market reviews
Ensure appropriate governance processes are followed for product changes and launches
Work closely with compliance and legal teams to monitor regulatory developments
Support the development and implementation of oversight processes and controls
Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external providers
