As A Commercial Gas Engineer You Will Have:
Relevant commercial gas qualifications and strong commercial gas experience

Ideally experience with commercial gas, oil and LPG systems
Good knowledge of domestic gas systems would be advantageous
A strong hands-on maintenance background
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a close-knit team
A full UK driving licence

Support Health, Safety and Wellbeing initiatives across SSL sites.
Assist with risk assessments, safe systems of work, policies and procedures.
Undertake workplace inspections and site visits to monitor safety standards.

Training:
Training will take place through a blend of workplace learning across SSL sites and online learning delivered by GLP Training.
The apprentice will receive dedicated off-the-job training as part of their working week.
Regular support and reviews will be provided by GLP Training and SSL colleagues throughout the programme.The apprenticeship is expected to take approximately 14 months, followed by an End Point Assessment period.
Training Outcome:Successful completion of the apprenticeship will provide the knowledge, skills and experience needed to pursue a career in Health, Safety and Wellbeing.
