General Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider – Commercial Building – Farringdon, London – Up to £45,000 per annum

An exciting opportunity to join an established Facilities Management service provider at a static commercial building in Farringdon, London. CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an General/Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work as the sole engineer responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of a 10-floor commercial building.

The successful candidate will ideally be electrically qualified, with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance and strong electrical fault-finding skills. You will be responsible for delivering planned preventative and reactive maintenance across all building services, ensuring the building operates efficiently and maintaining high standards of service for the client.

In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £45,000, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, overtime opportunities, and excellent opportunities for training and career progression.

Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday08:00 am – 17:00 pm 
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across all 10 floorsCarry out electrical fault-finding and maintain lighting, power distribution and control panelsPerform emergency lighting testing and fire alarm checksMonitor BMS systems and carry out plant checksMaintain AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors and associated plantCarry out minor plumbing and general building fabric maintenanceDiagnose and resolve faults across building servicesComplete maintenance records and compliance documentationCoordinate and escort specialist contractors when requiredEnsure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulationsLiaise professionally with the client and site managementTake ownership of the building's day-to-day maintenance requirements

Requirements:
