Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer – Commercial Sites – Thames Valley, South West & Midlands – Up to £45,000
CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer, ideally with an electrical bias, to cover a portfolio of commercial properties across the Thames Valley, South West & Midlands .
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and general building services works across a varied portfolio of sites. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working independently, travelling between sites and dealing with a variety of maintenance requirements.
The ideal candidate will live somewhere Central in the patch (Oxford, Burford, Cirencester, Chelthenham) Areas covering include Bristol, Reading, Southampton, Watford, Cheltenham, Swindon, Milton Keynes and Worcester.
Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.Electrical maintenance, fault-finding and minor installation works.Lighting, emergency lighting and power distribution.Testing and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.Basic mechanical maintenance, including pumps, motors, AHUs and FCUs.Carry out general plumbing and building fabric maintenance.Monitor and investigate faults with building services equipment.Complete routine plant and equipment checks.Respond to reactive maintenance issues and breakdowns.Liaise professionally with clients, site contacts and contractors.Complete maintenance records, job sheets and compliance documentation.Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with relevant Health & Safety procedures.Travel between sites across the Thames Valley, South West & Midlands.Hours & PackageSalary up to £45,000 per annumMonday to Friday – 08:00–17:00Call-out rota – details to be confirmed22 days annual leave + bank holidaysCompany vehicle + fuel cardOvertime opportunitiesOngoing training and developmentRequirementsElectrically or mechanically qualified – City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or above18th Edition desirable for electrically biased candidatesProven experience within commercial building maintenanceMulti-skilled building services experienceStrong electrical or mechanical maintenance and fault-finding skillsFull UK driving licenceGood communication and customer service skillsMust be able to travel across the required areaPlease send your CV to Dan Barber at CBW Staffing Solutions for more information and to avoid missing out on this opportunity!
